3 Jews killed in West Hollywood

3 Iranian-born Jewish men were shot in a West Hollywood apartment. Victims were targeted.
2 of the men were brothers, and the third was the brother of a girl who plunged off a high-rise two years ago in what was ruled a suicide.
Many murders, assassinations are ruled accident or suicide.

The 3 men found dead in apartment were not wealthy, had no criminal pasts.
The only thing that sticks out is there was nothing significant about them.
Very typical of agents.

The victims, including 2 brothers, were killed shortly after 9 pm Thursday, August 26 and their killer or killers got away without anyone seeing them.
The coroner identified the victims as Pirooz Moussazadeh, his brother, Shahriar Moussazadeh and Bernard Khalili.

Residents of the Kings Road Arms apartments heard what they thought were firecrackers going off. They called the apartment manager, who went to investigate and found the door open and the bodies inside.
No weapons were found, and there were no immediate clues as to why the men were targeted.

The men likely knew whoever killed them. There was no sign of a struggle, and the door had not been forced open.
All 3 victims were members of the Iranian Jewish community and moved to the US as young children.
West Hollywood is northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

During my final stint in college, I had one roommate who was an Iranian Jew. It was very common for them to send their sons to stay with relatives in the US during their last few years in high school. This would prevent them from being drafted into the military upon graduation, and allow them to proceed to college. My roommate and his brother were able to come to the US just before the removal of the Shah of Iran. Under the Shaw, his family was very prosperous importing truck parts. Family members within the United States were also in the automotive/trucking industry. When the Ayatollah took over, their persecution greatly increased. His father was imprisoned a couple of times. The last time was for their attempt to escape. Eventually they were able to make it out of Iran alive.
