9/11 mosque website gets scrubbed

Muslim initiative removes photos, key information[/size]
The Cordoba Initiative, the controversial group behind a proposed Islamic cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero, has been scrubbing its website of key information and documentation.
Last week, Obama ignited political controversy by commenting on the rights of American Muslims to build the Islamic center near the New York City site where nearly 3,000 were killed by Islamic terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001.
Cordoba's website previously listed the group's board members as well as a group of advisers. The names have since vanished from the site. The list of both advisers and board members are still available in web archives.
Another section of the site previously commented on the meaning of the word Cordoba, but that section has been removed.

The controversial photograph of Rauf and Lirijani has been removed from Cordoba's site but is still available by web archive.
Journalist Claudia Rosett wrote at the American Thinker that immediately after Obama made his remarks about the Ground Zero mosque initiative she noticed the Cordoba website said it was "under construction."
The tag has since been removed from the site.

Well, of course, he does. Why wouldn’t someone who thinks the sound of the call to evening prayers from a nearby minaret is one of the sweetest sounds in the world?
Why wouldn’t someone who spent his formative years, age six to twelve, in Indonesia, the step-son of a Muslim father and the son of a Muslim father who had deserted his wife and child.

But, I hear you say, he spent twenty years in a Christian church in Chicago. Yes, with a preacher who said of 9/11 that “the chickens had come home to roost”; a preacher who embraced Black Liberation theology and maintained close friendships with Nation of Islam leaders in Chicago.

“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.”

What a pompous hypocrite. He’s been president since January 20, 2009 and has yet to have selected a church to attend in Washington, D.C., like every other president before him has done, but he makes sure to celebrate Ramadan.
That’s what you get when you elect a man named Barack Hussein Obama about whom you know nothing other than the fawning, worshipful puke served up by the liberal media all through the campaign and for most of his first year and a half in office.

Too late! The majority of voters selected a complete stranger; a man with virtually no available paper trail, including the one item most people can produce on request, a legitimate birth certificate.

Obama is not an American. He is the son of a former British subject, a Kenyan of the same name. He is the step-son of an Indonesian who married his mother and adopted him. When his mother divorced for a second time, he was shipped off to live in Hawaii with his grandparents.

The only overseas trip he took that we know of was to Pakistan with a college friend from there. Did he travel on an American passport? The State Department records have conveniently disappeared.
He’s one of those people who enjoys all the benefits of American citizenship, but considers himself an internationalist, someone more at home in the bowels of the United Nations than the chamber of the U.S. Senate; a place where he spent very little time because he was so eager to seize the presidency and begin to “transform” America.

This statement regarding the defiling of Ground Zero, favoring a mosque where the same religion that spawned the 9/11 killers would be preached, may finally convince the deniers that Obama is and always has been a Muslim.

First interview as president was with Al Arabia. First official act was to sign paperwork to close down Guantanamo. First major overseas speech was given in Cairo. Et Cetera!
He’s letting you know he has the reins of power. He doesn’t care what you think. And he has the rest of his term to finish destroying the nation. He knows it. Now you do.

Mosque Debate Divides Demoncrats, Especially in NY
19 Aug 2010 As vulnerable congressional Democrats weigh how to respond to President Barack Obama's statements on Muslims' right to build a mosque near ground zero, those in New York and closest to the controversy are staying silent or scrambling away.
Democrats control both Senate seats and 27 of the state's 29 Congressional districts, but analysts believe as many as eight House Democrats in the state may be headed to defeat this year. Republicans, hoping to ease Democrats' grip on the state, insist the economy remains the major campaign issue but say the mosque flap could also help move voters their way.

From eastern Long Island to more rural upstate areas, House Democrats have been opposing the construction of a $100 million Islamic center two blocks from the World Trade Center site. More than 2,700 people died there on Sept. 11, 2001, at the hands of Islamic terrorists, and the wound remains fresh for many New Yorkers who are still traumatized by the attacks or who lost loved ones that day.

Developers of the planned Islamic center known as Park51 have plans for a 13-story structure featuring a pool, gym and 500-seat auditorium, as well as a mosque and Sept. 11 memorial. It's a project of the Cordoba Initiative, a New York-based nonprofit group that promotes greater understanding between Islam and the West.

Obama told a largely Islamic crowd over Ramadan dinner last week that he he believed Muslims have a right to build the mosque and practice their religion there. A day later, he said he wasn't passing judgment on the wisdom of building an Islamic center at that location.

The latest Democrat to break with Obama is Rep. John Hall, a two-term incumbent expected to face a strong challenge from Republican Nan Hayworth in the 19th district north of New York City.
In a statement released Wednesday, Hall said freedom of religion was essential to democracy but that he hoped the project would be constructed elsewhere.
"I think honoring those killed on Sept. 11 and showing sensitivity to their families, it would be best if the center were built at a different location," Hall said.
Hall joins three other House Democrats believed to be vulnerable in November who have announced their opposition to the project.

In eastern Long Island, four-term Rep. Tim Bishop said ground zero should be a symbol of interfaith understanding. If developers of the Islamic center are seeking such unity, they should move the project, he said.
In Staten Island, the most conservative of New York City's five boroughs, Democratic Rep. Mike McMahon said the project was a local matter and shouldn't come under federal jurisdiction. Nonetheless, he said he hoped it would be moved.
"I believe a new location is the right compromise so that Muslim Americans can worship without eliciting feelings that push us away from our country's basic tenet of religious acceptance while the families of 9/11 victims obtain the peace of mind they deserve," McMahon said.

A few vulnerable Democrats have chosen to stay silent on the matter, including Syracuse-area Rep. Dan Maffei, Rep. Bill Owens in northern New York and Albany-area Rep. Scott Murphy.

Murphy's Republican opponent, Chris Gibson, posted a statement on Facebook appearing to support the Islamic center project, saying, "It's either all or nothing — churches, mosques and synagogues should be treated the same." He later issued a clarification, saying he didn't think building a mosque near ground zero was a good idea.

There was a bit of a role-reversal in the Utica-area district where two-term Rep. Mike Arcuri is facing a strong challenge from Republican Richard Hanna. Arcuri was the first New York Democrat to break with Obama on the project, while Hanna initially said he didn't have a problem with it.

"This country was founded by people who were running away from religious persecution. So how can we become what we have beheld and found contemptible in other places?" Hanna said in a statement. He later switched course, saying it was insensitive to locate the project at ground zero.

Justin Phillips, an assistant professor at Columbia University who studies state elections, said the rejection of the mosque by vulnerable Democrats wasn't surprising.
"The Democrats who are going to lose in 2010 are from moderate to conservative districts, so these are the Democrats who are trying to be very careful in their handling of this issue," Phillips said. "They don't want to take an unpopular position on anything right now."

Indeed, Democratic Rep. Jerrold Nadler, who faces only token opposition as he seeks his 10th term, has been one of the most outspoken advocates of the project. Nadler's district includes the World Trade Center site.

Democratic Rep. Carolyn Maloney, who faces a feisty primary challenge from attorney Reshma Saujani, announced her support for the Islamic Center two weeks ago but is being pushed by Saujani to speak out more forcefully. The primary is Sept. 14.

"This is a major debate unfolding in our city and country, and our leaders ... are weighing in with lukewarm statements," said Saujani, who strongly supports the project.

The matter has even quieted the state's normally garrulous senior senator, Chuck Schumer, who is seeking re-election this year and has yet to weigh in on the controversy that is roiling the state. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who is also facing voters this fall, has issued terse statements of support for the center but said she would also back efforts to move it if community members decided to do so.

Fakih, daughter of Lebanese immigrants, said she has respect for freedom of religion but feels the mosque should not be built so close to the site of the September 11 attacks.
"I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion," she said. "I also agree that it shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Center. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion," she added.
Fakih recently told a Detroit newspaper that she fasts during the month of Ramadan despite preparations towards the Miss Universe Pageant.

While the controversy still rises and rages on, around the proposed "Cordoba House" mosque and Muslim cultural center right on the edge of Ground Zero,
where the World Trade Center stood till Sept. 11, 2001 – there is a world-famous building, dedicated by its current residents to similar purposes, in the middle of Washington, D.C.

We call it the White House.

Some liberal, "change happy" Obamaphiles will instantly call me names for even thinking what I've just said, but I want you and any objective reader to look at the following facts.
Then see if you can come to a different conclusion.

We are all, to a great or lesser degree, the inevitable product of how we were raised, what we were taught and experienced as children.
Barack Hussein Obama was born to an 18-year-old Caucasian woman and a Kenyan father.
Virtually all his early influences, including his biological father and his Indonesian stepfather, his mother and grandparents – were socialists, atheists, and/or Muslims.

He went to two schools in Indonesia as a young, impressionable boy. One was Catholic, the other Muslim. In both, he was identified as a Muslim, and in the latter he was of course indoctrinated in the Muslim faith. Other students and several teachers who remember him during that period say he was attentive, studious and better than average in his Muslim studies.

A jaw-dropping expose on the six-month undercover operation that revealed the true terror-supporting nature of CAIR: "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America." It's also available in electronic form at reduced price through Scribd.
During the presidential campaign, he said publicly he "still love(s) the sound of the Muslim evening call to prayer," and could still recite the appropriate prayers.

In his autobiographical book, "Dreams from My Father," he volunteered that an older man, Frank Davis, was a sort of substitute father and mentor to him as a teenager in Honolulu. The man was a serious dissident and socialist, and the young Barack credits him as another strong influence.

Then, he relates that at Occidental College, student Barack "sought out" other dissidents, political activists and outright Marxist professors. Is there a discernible pattern here?
One of his close friends took him on a prolonged visit to Pakistan during those years, and the question remains about Obama's passport. If it was American, he would not have been allowed in Pakistan – so what was it?

We are being prevented from knowing trivia like that, as well as his records at all three colleges he attended, his college papers and almost all records of his childhood and young manhood, up to the time he began his political career.
His support team has spent close to $2 million suppressing all that information. Why? Does anybody spend millions to hide personal and college records … if there's nothing damaging to hide?

Barack Obama knew exactly how people would react to his Aug. 13 endorsement of the Ground Zero mosque, and created a firestorm of controversy by design. Why?
Obama is not your usual politician. He does not function within the framework of bourgeois politics, which encourages compromise, deal-making, and finding common ground,
especially when a majority of the electorate seems to be lining up against you.

Obama is a community organizer i.e. a Communist .
Basically, they are revolutionaries. Obama's mentor and teacher was Saul Alinsky, a Marxist radical. His book is the "Bible" of that movement. And the basic operating philosophy is the Marxist principle of class struggle.
But "class" now has a wider meaning than the traditional Marxist category of economic class. In the current stage of revisionist, Gramscian Marxism, "class" also includes cultural dimensions, such as race and gender.

Thus, Marxism now promotes a cultural revolution, involving the "deconstruction" -- i.e., destruction -- of traditional (and natural) gender identities, and their reconstruction along radical egalitarian lines. Within this new Gramscian/Alinskyite framework, we can aptly describe Obama as a "racial Marxist."

Thus, the community organizer does not seek to find common ground. On the contrary, he wants to increase and intensify the conflicts, divisions and tensions within the community. To employ a Marxist phrase, he wants to "heighten its contradictions."
The revolutionary may accuse his opponents of being "divisive," but that is precisely what he seeks to do.

CIVIL WAR
Obama, the president, is the same as Obama the community organizer. Only now his "community" is the United States as a whole. (And given the international power of the presidency, it is also the world as a whole.)
He may accuse his opponents of being divisive, but he himself seeks to polarize America and create conditions for a civil war.

Through the establishment (and some "anti-establishment") politicians that it controls -- and through the various organizations (such as the CFR) that it uses -- the Illuminati seek to create division wherever they can.
They play both sides of every issue, which is what gives the "Ground Zero Mosque" controversy its incredible sense of contrivance.

The Illuminati was ultimately behind the decision to construct the mosque in the first place, knowing this would offend many people. Advertised as a gesture to "build bridges," it was in fact designed to create conflict.
The head of the Cordoba Initiative, which decided to build the mosque, is Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, well known for his global connections. He has been closely associated with the Aspen Institute, funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and head-quartered in Washington, D.C.

It is active worldwide in "fostering enlightened leadership" for the new global order. (Aspen's chairman, Walter Isaacson, former CEO of CNN, was recently appointed by President Obama to be head of the Broadcasting Board of Governors which oversees all of the U.S. government's international broadcasting.) So the Imam is not just a local Muslim cleric; he is well networked with those who are planning and carrying out the global agenda at the highest level.

Once the decision to build the mosque was made, the Illuminati got politicians like Mayor Bloomberg to support it and politicians like Newt Gingrich to denounce it. The controlled media played it up and soon the country was angry and divided. And then they got Obama to throw more fuel on the fire.

What gives this whole controversy its greatest sense of unreality, however, is that Ground Zero is itself an Illuminati creation using their Mossad, CIA and other assets. The controversy over the mosque is designed to cement the bogus notion that Muslims were responsible for this heinous act.

Divide and conquer is their modus operandi. Divide men and women, parents and children, straights and gays, Muslims and Christian, nations and races.
The ground zero mosque controversy falls into this category.

Nation of Islam joins Forces with the Church of Scientology
Sept. 2010 In August Louis Farrakhan brought a message to over a thousand members of the Nation of Islam. In a move which surprised many outsiders, including scholars of religion, Farrakhan concluded his sermon with an ultimatum that any past, present, or future "laborers" (people holding any position) in the Nation would have to sign papers agreeing to take Dianetics training (entry-level Scientology dealing with the body and mind) or they would be asked to "sit down."

Not that there were no clues that this was coming. Louis Farrakhan was recently rumored to be taking courses (with Al Sharpton) at Scientology's Mecca in Clearwater, Florida. On August 10th, Mother Tynnetta Mohammed was at Scientology's Fort Harrison Hotel in Clearwater with a number of other Nation of Islam Members, as reported on the Nation's FinalCall.com website. That evening, they saw a light in the sky over Clearwater, and became convinced they were watching a UFO.

Also in recent weeks, Nation of Islam members have been seen by protesters at larger Scientology Orgs (Organizations) around the US. In one case, a member of the Nation of Islam confronted and assaulted a protester outside the Washington, DC Church of Scientology. In another city, a protester was approached by a male member of the Nation who had been standing outside the Org where she was protesting. He demanded she stop filming him, and explained that he was not a Scientologist, he was just doing Dianetics.

The strangeness of this union is perhaps most visible when one compares the racist and jingoistic beliefs embedded in both of these faiths. Louis Farrakhan and other leaders of the Nation have often repeated that the Jew and the White man are devils, created by a mad scientist some 6,000 years ago. In lectures which are considered scripture by Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard clearly stated that the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was essentially a con man and "small town booster." Other scriptural lectures and documents by Hubbard make clear his disdain for Africans in general.

It remains to be seen how this will play itself out. With the Church of Scientology being a predominantly white organization, with a significant Jewish membership, and the Nation being an entirely black organization with long held suspicion of those who make up the majority of the CoS, there is bound to be friction. This area is being radically Islamized.

The declaration of war that went unnoticed
The Muslim Brotherhood recently called for jihad on the US and Israel, adopting a view almost identical to al-Qaida’s.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s leader has endorsed anti-American jihad and a view virtually identical to al-Qaida’s ideology.
Since the Brotherhood is the main opposition in Egypt and Jordan and the most powerful group in Muslim communities of Europe and North America, this is serious stuff.

Does that mean all these branches are going to launch terror attacks, as one affiliate, Hamas, has long done? Not necessarily.
But hundreds of thousands of Brotherhood followers are being given a signal. Some will engage in terrorism,
others will redouble efforts to seize control of countries and turn them into bases for war on the West.

The Brotherhood is the group that often dominates Muslim communities and runs mosques in the West. Its front groups are often courted by Western governments and media.
Yet here is the Brotherhood’s new supreme guide, Muhammad Badi giving a sermon entitled,
“How Islam Confronts the Oppression and Tyranny,” translated by MEMRI in which he says:

• Arab and Muslim regimes betray their people unless they confront not only Israel but also the US. Waging jihad against both is mandatory for all Muslims.
Otherwise, “They are disregarding Allah’s commandment to wage jihad so that Allah’s word will reign supreme” over all non-Muslims.

• All Muslims are required by their religion to fight as their highest priority, since
“the improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice,
and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death just as its enemies pursue life.”

• The US is easy to defeat through violence, since it is “experiencing the beginning of its end and is heading toward its demise.”
• Palestinians should back Hamas in overthrowing the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and unite in waging war on Israel.

• Rational calculations applied by the West to adversaries, assuming Muslims won’t act in a revolutionary and even suicidal manner, want a better future for their children, etc.,
don’t apply to the Islamist movement: “Allah said: ‘The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee’ (Koran 54:45).
This verse is a promise to the believers that they shall defeat their enemies... and that through Allah you shall triumph.
The outcome of the confrontation has been predetermined by Allah.”

Thus, it doesn’t matter how long the battle lasts or its cost in destruction and death, you should go on fighting.

IN THE real world, Islamists are unlikely to win over, say, 50 or 100 years. But those views mean these 50 or 100 years are going to be filled with instability and bloodshed. Muslims don’t have to agree with Badi’s views, yet hundreds of thousands will, and millions will cheer them.

There’s even more food for thought in Badi’s speech.
“Resistance(jihad, terror) is the only solution. The United States cannot impose an agreement upon the Palestinians, despite all the power at its disposal.
[Today] it is withdrawing from Iraq, defeated and wounded, and is also on the verge of withdrawing from Afghanistan” because it has been defeated by Islamist warriors.

First, US efforts that seem to be succeeding at brokering Israel-Palestinian peace would only spark more violence, not less, as Islamists seek to defeat them.
Desirable as peace or even progress toward peace might be, the West should have no illusions about those things providing regional stability; they will produce more instability.

Second, US apologies, concessions and withdrawals are interpreted by Islamists and many in the Middle East as signs of weakness, which spark further aggression and violence. OBAMA KNOWS THIS!
Note that it is precisely fear of a tough opponent thet keeps Badi from saying anything about fighting Egypt’s government, which won’t hesitate to throw Brotherhood leaders in prison and even torture them.

STILL, THE coming leadership transition in Egypt, with the death or retirement of President Husni Mubarak, seems to offer opportunities.
The new harder line coincides with the Brotherhood’s announcement that it will run candidates in the November elections, another sign of its confidence and increased militancy.

The Brotherhood is not a legal group, but the government lets members run in other parties. Its candidates won about 20 percent of the vote in the last elections,
especially impressive given the regime’s repressive measures. If the Brotherhood intends to defy Egyptian law now, there will be confrontations, mass arrests and perhaps violence.
Most important, however, Badi and many others sense weakness on the part of the West, especially the US leaders, and victory for the Islamists.

Even former British prime minister Tony Blair is warning about such things. Blair comes from the British Labor Party. Many conservatives understand these issues.
But the West can never respond successfully without a broader consensus about the nature of the threat and the need for a strong response.
Where are Blair’s counterparts in the left-of-center forces in North America, the kind of people who played such a critical role in confronting and defeating the previous wave of anti-democratic extremism, communism?

This new hard line signals:
1. Increased internal conflict in Egypt, the start of a decade-long struggle for power in the Arabic-speaking world’s most important country.
2. The likelihood that more Brotherhood supporters in the West will turn to violence and fund-raising for terrorism.

3. The true nature of the radical indoctrination – preparing people for future extremism and terrorism – in the mosques and groups they control.
4. A probable upturn in anti-American terrorist attacks in the Middle East and Europe.

In August 1996, al-Qaida declared war on America, the West, Christians and Jews. Nobody important paid much attention. Almost exactly five years later, September 11 forced them to notice. Let it be said that in September 2010 the Muslim Brotherhood, a group with 100 times more activists than al-Qaida, issued its declaration of war. What remains is the history of the future.
