Palestinians slam UN chief's remarks on Jewish ties to Temple Mount
1/30/17

Palestinian officials criticized United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday for saying that a Jewish temple existed atop the Temple Mount.

“[Gueterres] ignored UNESCO’s decision that considered the Al-Aksa Mosque of pure Islamic heritage,” Adnan al-Husseini, Palestinian Authority Jerusalem Affairs minister, told Xinhua, a Chinese news outlet, clarifying that the UN secretary-general “violated all legal, diplomatic and humanitarian customs, overstepped his role as secretary general, and…must issue an apology to the Palestinian people.”

Speaking to Israel Radio on Friday, Guterres reportedly said that it is "completely clear that the Temple that the Romans destroyed in Jerusalem was a Jewish temple."

The new UN chief added that there is "no doubt" that Jerusalem is holy to all three of the major monotheistic religions. He also said, according to Israel Radio, that he had no intention of pushing for a peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, though he believes in the two-state solution and would assist in that goal if asked.

Ahmad Majdalani, a Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee member, said that the statements "undermine the trustworthiness of the UN as a body that should support occupied peoples.” (UNESCO resolution on Temple Mount in Jerusalem)

“It appears that the secretary general of the United Nations lacks culture and knowledge in his own specialization,” Majdalani, who also serves as an adviser to PA President Mahmoud Abbas, told Xinhua, calling on the UN secretary-general to clarify his position “that gives a green light to the occupation to undertake more measures against Jerusalem.”

UNESCO's World Heritage Committee approved a resolution in October that made no mention of Jewish ties to the Temple Mount, exclusively referring to the holy site as its is known in Islam, the Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Al-Haram Al-Sharif.

Fayez Abu Eitah, the secretary-general of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, said that Gueterres’s statements are unacceptable politically and morally.

“[The statements] are a direct attack on the Palestinian people’s right in the holy city, biased in favor of the site of occupation, and akin to granting legitimacy to Israel’s illegal presence in Jerusalem,” Abu Eitah told official PA television.

Moreover, the Palestinian representative to UNESCO Mounir Anastas rejected Guterres’s statements, which he argued hold no legal significance, while saying that that the Temple Mount is holy for all three Semitic religions, according to official PA radio.

Nikki Haley Condemns Russia at UN
Feb 3, 2017
-  UNITED NATIONS — Nikki Haley, the new American ambassador to the United Nations, condemned Russia for its recent aggressive actions in eastern Ukraine.  The situation in eastern Ukraine demands clear and strong condemnation of Russian actions.

She made it clear that American sanctions imposed after Russia’s annexation of Crimea would remain in place.

During her Senate confirmation hearing last month, Ms. Haley also expressed support for continuing the sanctions and accused Russia of committing war crimes in the Syrian conflict. But her strong criticism of the government of President Vladimir V. Putin put her at odds with President Trump, who has expressed a desire for warmer relations with the Kremlin.

Her Russian counterpart, Vitaly I. Churkin, told reporters after the meeting that it would be “frivolous” to speculate on whether the Trump administration would be friendlier than that of President Barack Obama

UN Ambassador Haley hits Russia hard on Ukraine
The US ambassador to the United Nations offered a strong condemnation of Russia in her first appearance at the UN Security Council on Thursday, calling on Moscow to de-escalate violence in eastern Ukraine and saying that US sanctions against Moscow would remain in place until it withdraws from Crimea.

"The United States continues to condemn and call for an immediate end to the Russian occupation of Crimea," said Nikki Haley, President Donald Trump's envoy to the world body. "Crimea is a part of Ukraine. Our Crimea-related sanctions will remain in place until Russia returns control over the peninsula to Ukraine."

I DONT AGREE with Haley at all!
Crimea people voted to be part of Russia!  USA needs to respect the people there!
Crimean people VOTED - overwhelmingly - to be part of Russia, rather than under the new NWO Nazi govt in Kiev.

Trump will retain Ukraine-related Russia sanctions
Feb 3, 2017
-  President Trump will retain former resident Barack Obama's sanctions on Russia until the former Soviet power withdraws from Ukrainian territory.

Ukraine was a western instigated coup.
I’m less concerned about the recent hostilities in the Ukraine than by the Haley statement that sanctions would remain in place as long as Russia remained in Crimea. Russia will never leave Crimea.  The U.S. was involved in the Kiev coup that lead to the hostilities in Ukraine in the first place. What right did the Obama Admin have to stir up trouble in a country that borders Russia? The Ukraine is not in our backyard, it is in Russia’s backyard, and they were upset with reason.

Crimea is Russia’s warm water port where they keep many of their ships. After the coup, they took over Crimea to protect their ports from the new Nazi Ukraine govt.

Globalists will continue pushing for WW-3 with Russia. UN Amb Nikki Haley is a snake, she got in early due to GOP elite con game. Traitor to America.
'US Amb. to UN Haley: "I must condemn the aggressive actions of Russia" in eastern Ukraine.'

American mainstream media is inciting violence against Trump supporters.

ZionsCRY Comment
The aggression is NOT Russia!
I alerted to Haley blaming Russia instantly, then read Cernovich call her a traitor.  Mr President, you chose the WRONG UN Ambassador!

UN Secretary General Claims 'Islamophobia' Causes Terrorism
2/13/17

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres thinks he's got terror figured out: apparently, any rule that can be perceived as taking issue with Islam will "fuel terrorism." While not a direct quote, Guterres does say regulations like President Trump's travel ban will create more terrorists:

“One of the things that fuel terrorism is the expression in some parts of the world of Islamophobic feelings and Islamophobic policies and Islamophobic hate speeches,” Guterres  said at a joint news conference with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir.

“This is sometimes the best support that Daesh can have to make its own propaganda,” Guterres said, using an Arabic acronym for the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS. “So, we need to have a comprehensive approach to fight terrorism, including creating the conditions for societies that are multiethnic, multi-religious, multicultural, to be inclusive, to be cohesive, investing in the conditions to make diversity a richness, not a threat,” he concluded.

   ...

Guterres’ comments regarding Islamophobia follow his criticism of the U.S. President Donald Trump’s controversial immigration restrictions that many political observers characterized as Trump’s gift to ISIS and other terrorist outfits.

First, Guterres needs to understand that most Americans who aren't raging progressives don't really care what he thinks of most things. In particular, the idea of a ban against certain people is hardly new, as many of his member states do just that to Jews. Further, Trump issued a moratorium rather than a ban, since it was only for 90 days, and the moratorium only covered seven countries, but whatever.

The thing Guterres needs to understand more than anything, however, is how backwards he has this.

"Islamophobia" would be defined as irrational distrust and fear of Muslims, when what we are seeing is a common-sense response to terror committed by Muslims and praised by Muslims. Very, very few people are responding in a bigoted manner.

Discussions about Islam simply weren't a thing pre-9/11 as a general rule, despite terrorism's long assault on the West. Not in the United States, at least. Sure, there are exceptions to that, but as a rule, none of us really cared one way or another. Today, many people feel differently.

Trump to Boycott U.N.
Mar 20, 2017
-  Trump Admin To Boycott U.N. Council Over Anti-Israel Agenda.
The UNHRC is poised to adopt 5 anti-Israel resolutions unjust against Israel.  The Trump administration will boycott the UNHRC due to its efforts to advance an anti-Israel agenda.

Trump pressure on the U.N. is part of a larger effort by Ambassador Nikki Haley to significantly reform the U.N. and root out those who use it as a platform to push anti-Israel initiatives. Trump is fully committed to voting against every resolution targeting Israel and that it will encourage allies to do the same.

Newly installed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated recently that the United States intends boycott the UNHRC until it implements much needed reforms, chiefly its anti-Israel bias.
