Puerto Rico bonds now trade cheaper than Detroit's. "It's out of whack," one analysts warns, though the island's double-digit unemployment and recent weakness in economic indicators somewhat support the concerns - and while the "yields are attractive" it is possible that the island's borrowing costs could go higher as supply is extremely heavy in coming months. With 77% of managers holding Puerto Rico bonds, this is a problem...

Death in the water
Nov 5, 2013
 from Ed
He has seen tsunami on the U.S. east coast.  Twice I have seen the death mask, once in a frozen, large tsunami wave, then about a week later, I was standing on the east coast of America and saw a white line covering the surface of the horizon, representing a coming tsunami.  Just last Sunday , I was again on the east coast, around the area of North or South Carolina and saw a flat ocean, and then the death mask appeared lying flat on the surface of the water.   There is death in the water, or beneath it.

(His wife) has seen mounds of bodies, during the same time frame.  Our pastor has seen a blazing fire ball cut through the atmosphere and hit the earth, preceded by smaller meteors.  She saw the same fire ball hitting the earth with much force, about 6 months ago.  I was surprised when our pastor shared his dream of the asteroid.

I know the end is near.  I did see the beginning of the tribulation, rising out of the west.  It was like a huge, red orange light, with rays shooting out of the central core possibly starting in Asia or Japan or China.   It was not the return of the Lord, which may come from the east (towards Jerusalem).  It was land based.

I have been keeping up, but things are so far along, that any day we may wake up to some sort of event and be in martial law.  The electrical blackout over the entire USA east of the Mississippi River is likely.  Even resigning DHS leader (Napalitono) indicated a 100% chance of the event, not if, but when.  A prophecy of the Puerto Rican prophet (Efren Rodriges ) indicates that an asteroid will strike near PR and create a 12 Mw quake, and tsunami to destroy part of PR and Dom Rep, Haiti, all the small islands in the Caribbean, and USA gulf coast, USA east coast, and parts of South America and Mexico.  Florida may cease to exist, if this thing hits as shown.  If a 12 quake is generated, it may set off the New Madrid wheel quake or Springfield.  If you believe what they are saying, NASA has found this asteroid and has a missile battery in PR to try and hit it.  They may hit it, but not stop it.

The seals of Revelation 6 are gaining strength.  Christians are being martyred in ever increasing numbers around the world.  DHS is planning for warfare on USA cities and rural areas.
-  Email to me from Ed

Several years ago another friend of mine had a vision of being in a large ship in the streets of New York after a major tsunami had struck that city.

Lots of internet rumors about a Puerto Rico tsunami.

Puerto Rico warms to Sodomy SIN
March 2013
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico friendly to the SIN of Sodom.
And many Puerto Ricans remain uncomfortable with the changes.
Many other islands in the Caribbean remain deeply hostile to homosexuality.

6.5 earthquake Puerto Rico
Jan 13, 2014
A strong earthquake out to sea shook Puerto Rico early Monday, causing minor damage in some places.
Some people reported items falling in their home and dozens said they felt buildings sway in the capital of San Juan, about 61 miles from the quake's epicenter.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 and struck just after midnight about 35 miles north of Hatillo. It said the quake occurred 17 miles deep.

Puerto Rico ends its defense of gay marriage ban
3/20/15
http://news.yahoo.com/puerto-rico...e-gay-marriage-ban-230234857.html

SAN JUAN (Reuters) - The Puerto Rican government will no longer defend a law that bans same-sex couples from marrying and does not recognize the validity of such marriages performed in other jurisdictions, the U.S. commonwealth's attorney general announced on Friday.

The announcement coincided with the filing of a government brief before the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, where the Puerto Rico law is being challenged.

The Caribbean island, which is a U.S. territory, said it would no longer defend Article 68 of its Civil Code which contains the same sex marriage rules.

"The decision recognizes that all human beings are equal before the law," Justice Secretary César Miranda said. "We believe in an equal society in which everyone enjoys the same rights.”

The move paves the wave for the recognition of gay marriages in Puerto Rico, and was welcomed by gay singing star Ricky Martin, who is beloved in his native Puerto Rico.

“Today is a great day for my island,” Martin said in a Twitter message. “My heart is beating out of my chest. How proud I am to live in a country of equality.”

Gay marriage bans have been toppled in a growing number of states following a Supreme Court ruling two years ago that invalidated a federal law that restricted benefits to heterosexual couples.

Oral arguments are scheduled before the U.S. Supreme Court next month on the constitutionality of gay marriage bans in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Governor Alejandro Garcia Padilla, a Democrat who is a practicing Catholic, said in a statement that the spread of laws in several U.S. states had pointed to an "undeniable consensus that does not allow discriminatory distinctions as that contained in our Civil Code with respect to the rights of same sex couples."

"Everyone knows my religious beliefs but political leaders should not impose their beliefs," said Garcia Padilla, who has defended the traditional definition of marriage in the past.

The decision by Puerto Rico came on the last day that it had to answer arguments presented by five same sex couples and the group Puerto Rico Para Tod@s, who were appealing a decision by U.S. District Court Judge Juan Perez Gimenez last October that dismissed their lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the Puerto Rico Civil Code.

White House wont bail out Puerto Rico
June 30, 2015
-   The White House dismissed the idea of bailing out Puerto Rico from its financial crisis, instead urging Congress to consider changing the law so the island can declare bankruptcy.
Puerto Rico can't pay its $72 billion public debt.  But White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the federal government would provide financial expertise and access to existing resources - but not a bailout.
As a U.S. territory, Puerto Rico can't file for bankruptcy.

Puerto Rico Shows Greece Needs €50 Billion A Year: And Would Still Fail Even Then

It’s true, as Paul Krugman says, that Greece and Puerto Rico are not in exactly the same position. PR is bust to some extent, yes, but it’s not in the middle of a catastrophe, as Greece is. However, there is also a similarity in their situations, one that’s extremely instructive. They’re both suffering from being in a monetary policy zone, a currency zone, that isn’t really suitable for their circumstances. One of the two is in a fiscal policy union as well as that monetary union, the other is not. And it’s long been agreed that if you’re to have monetary union then you really do need to have that fiscal union as well.

So, what we can do is have a look at how much aid Puerto Rico is getting from that fiscal union and equate that to the minimum that Greece would require if it were indeed part of a full fiscal union. The answer being a very scary €50 billion or so. That’s a year. No, that’s not debt relief, that’s not loans, that’s just the transfer of rich country taxpayers’ money to the Greek state and citizenry as a gift. For that’s the sort of amount of money, relative to GDP, that Puerto Rico is getting. And recall, PR is still failing even at these levels of transfer.
