AIDS was the same thing, FYI.

Either way, we are seeing God's judgments coming down. Look at those destructive tornados that hit Arkansas recently(which legalized SSM around that time).

1Corinthians 6:13  Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
1Co 6:14  And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
1Co 6:15  Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
1Co 6:16  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
1Co 6:17  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
1Co 6:18  Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1Co 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Co 6:20  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

You are right!  I was asked what ARKANSAS had done to invite the wrath of GOD.
Thats it.  The court houses were handing out marriage licenses to queers -
WHILE THIS WAS ILLEGAL!
They were not supposed to!
The curse of GOD abides on same sex sex!

And courts in both Oregon and PA struck down their respective states' SSM bans this week - now the entire West Coast and Northeast legalizes SSM.

Buckle up and keep looking up...

Is MERS the New SARS?
Virus hunter Nathan Wolfe tells us about a deadly new virus.
Both SARS and MERS are in the same family of viruses, the coronaviruses, but they differ enough genetically to allow us to conclude that they emerged independently from each other.

A 65-year-old man infected with a new SARS-like virus died of multiple organ failure on Monday in France.
He was the first French patient to die from the condition, which is known as Middle East Respiratory Symptom Coronavirus, or MERS-CoV. As of Wednesday, 49 people have been infected with the virus since September; of those, 27 have died.

The French man, who remains unidentified, was hospitalized in Lille last month, after returning from a vacation in Dubai, where it is believed he was infected. Another patient in France was in stable but very serious condition.
Dr. Margaret Chan, the director-general of the United Nation's World Health Organization, called the virus a "threat to the entire world" on Monday at the annual World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.

"It is not a problem that any single affected country can keep to itself or manage all by itself," she said. "We do not know where the virus hides in nature. We do not know how people are getting infected. Until we answer these questions, we are empty-handed when it comes to prevention. These are alarm bells. And we must respond."

Part of what worries global health officials about MERS-CoV is how rapidly it seems to be spreading around the globe. Most of the confirmed cases of the virus have originated in Saudi Arabia, but cases have also been reported in France, Germany, Qatar, Jordan, and Britain.

MERS SAUDI ARABIA
May 23, 2014
– The Philippines said 2 of its citizens working in Saudi Arabia have died from the MERS coronavirus.  Their relatives have been informed and efforts were being made to bring the bodies home.  The deaths were recorded on May 12 and 18.  This brings the death toll to 177 worldwide with about 652 reported infections. Thousands of Filipinos work in the Middle East, while it is estimated as many as 10 million work overseas to escape widespread poverty at home. -YME

MERS appears to be nearly identical to SARS.  Are they making up names?  Are they creating lab virus to intentionally kill?

Shocked

Iran reports first death from deadly MERS virus
May 31, 2014
Just one new MERS-CoV (Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus) case was reported in Saudi Arabia today, while a media report said one of the first two MERS patients in Iran has died. And in other developments, US health officials said this week that in the next phase of their contact investigations sparked by the first two US MERS cases, they hope to conduct blood tests on several hundred people to look for evidence of past infection. The latest Saudi case involves a 36-year-old man who is in critical condition in a government hospital’s intensive care unit in Jeddah, the Saudi Ministry of Health said in today’s update. The man, who has diabetes and hypertension, fell ill on May 26 and was first hospitalized in Qunfudhah (also spelled Gonfodah) on May 28, before being transferred to Jeddah. The MOH gave no information about the man’s possible exposures to the virus. His case was preceded by 5 others reported in Qunfudhah in the past week, including 1 on May 22 and 4 on May 24 and 25. With just one case today, the general slowdown in Saudi Arabian cases seems to be gradually solidifying, after weeks of high daily case counts during April and early May. The country’s MERS count has now reached 569 cases, with 187 deaths. The MOH also reported that five other MERS patients were released from hospitals in Mecca, Jeddah, and Medina yesterday.

In Iran, meanwhile, one of two sisters identified as the country’s first MERS case-patients has died, while the other has been released from a hospital, according to a story from the Azerbaijan-based Trend News Agency. The two cases were reported May 26. Iran’s Tasnim news agency said the patient who died, a 53-year-old, had been treated for several days in the southeastern city of Kerman, according to the Trend story. Her sister was released from the hospital after “a few days” of treatment, the story said, citing Mohammad Mehdi Gouya, head of Iran’s Centre for Disease Control, as the information source. Another official, Ali Akbar Haghdoust, head of Kerman Medical University, said nine other people have suspected MERS-CoV infections and are being tested, according to the story. The two sisters were among four suspected case-patients in one family. -CIDRAP

Camel infection led to MERS death
The animals have been suspected as the source of Middle East respiratory syndrome (Mers).
A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine has found "identical" Mers viruses in camels and their owner.
The 44-year-old man, from Saudi Arabia, died of the infection.

There have been 681 cases of Mers, leading to 204 deaths, since the virus was first detected in June 2012.
The precise source of the infection has been unclear.

The man, who was treated at King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Jeddah, kept nine camels that had been sick shortly before he was infected.
Medical notes show he had treated his camels with nose drops.

An analysis of viral samples taken from both the camels and the patient showed that "the full genome sequence from the two isolates was identical", the report said.
It added: "These data suggest that this fatal case of human Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus infection was transmitted through close contact with an infected camel."

MERS may be airborne
July 24, 2014  SAUDI ARABIA –
Genetic fragments of the deadly MERS virus (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) were detected in the air of a barn where an infected camel was kept.
Researchers collected air samples from a camel barn owned by a MERS patient who died in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  One of the camels in the barn had MERS.

Saudi Arabia - 2 new cases of MERS, including one death
August 13, 2014
One death and a new case of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in Riyadh on Monday after a lull. The last case of the virus was reported on July 10. The latest fatality was a 74-year-old Saudi who had been undergoing treatment at a Riyadh hospital for some time. The new case involves a 72-year-old Saudi, who has a history of chronic diseases, is reported to have contracted the virus and is currently undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of a Riyadh hospital. There have been 722 cases of MERS-CoV in the Kingdom since June 2012, of which 299 have died. During this period, a total of 396 people recovered from the illness and 27 are still under treatment. Acting Health Minister Adel Fakeih adopted several preventive measures to control the spread of the virus. Besides launching a national Kingdom-wide awareness campaign on the coronavirus in Jeddah earlier this month, he also appointed officials to handle various offices in the combat of the disease. The campaign was launched by the acting health minister in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO).
