U.N. says over 92 killed in Syria, 32 of them children
May 26, 2012  BEIRUT (Reuters) - The United Nations said on Saturday that more than 92 people were killed in what activists described as an artillery barrage by government forces in the worst violence since the start of a U.N. peace plan to slow the flow of blood in Syria's uprising.

The bloodied bodies of children, some with their skulls split open, were shown in footage posted to YouTube purporting to show the victims of the shelling in the central town of Houla on Friday. The sound of wailing filled the room.
The carnage underlined just how far Syria is from any negotiated path out of the 14-month-old revolt against President Bashar al-Assad.
"This morning U.N. military and civilian observers went to Houla and counted more than 32 children under the age of 10 and over 60 adults killed," the head of U.N. team monitoring the ceasefire - which has yet to take hold - said.

The USA plan for SYRIA
May 27,  2012   Barack Hussein Obama is working on the 'Yemen model' for a plan to push Bashar Assad out of office, while leaving remnants of his government in place.
The Yemeni model replaced President Ali Abdullah in Sanaa with his vice president Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
Ali Abdullah was a key U.S. ally, as was Mubarak in Egypt.  0bama is raping our allies.
The Yemen plan would leave cronies in place who are responsible for massacres, including Assad's close relatives.
The GOAL of Islam, 0bama, al qaeda, the vatican, 'the rebels' is to take over the entire world - including USA - and is rapidly accomplishing this.

Arms ships near Syria
May 27,  2012   Sunday   USA wants an arms embargo on Syria. but Russia and China do not.
Russian, North Korean arms ships to dock in Syria.  Two cargo ships from Russia and North Korea expected May 26th.  The two ships, ODAI from North Korea and Katsman from Russia, are scheduled to dock in Latakiya and Tartus ports of Syria.
Arms deliveries to Assad are funded by Iran (and Russia).
Russia and North Korea continue to ship weapons and ammunition to Syria.
Russia demands cash in advance for weapons.  Nearly all the arms and equipment of the Syrian army are of Soviet or North Korean origin and they urgently need spare parts for the vehicles.

May 26, 2012  Diplomats say the U.N. Security Council will hold an emergency meeting Sunday afternoon to discuss the recent
massacre in the Syrian town of Houla that left more than 90 people dead.
The diplomats say Britain and France proposed issuing a press statement condemning the Houla massacre, but Russia told council members it could not agree and wanted a briefing first by the general heading the U.N. observer mission in Syria.

The diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity, say the briefing by Maj. Gen. Robert Mood was being arranged. Russia called for a council meeting to begin at 2:30 p.m. (1830 GMT).
The U.N. and others have issued statements appearing to hold the Syrian regime of President Bashar Assad responsible. The Syrian government has denied responsibility for the Houla killings.
http://news.yahoo.com/un-security...ing-syria-massacre-174303034.html

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday condemned the recent massacre in Syria's Houla, expressing "revulsion" and placing blame for the incident squarely on Syrian President Bashar Assad. Netanyahu joins a growing chorus of condemnation by world powers, including the United Nations, the United States, Russia, the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union.

Forces loyal to Assad killed at least 108 people and injured around 300, mostly women and children, on Friday in Houla in Homs province, according to the UN peacekeeping chief Herve Ladsous. The event marks one of the biggest massacres of the 14-month uprising against his rule. Syrian authorities have denied carrying out the attack, instead blaming it on "terrorists."

Netanyahu expressed his "revulsion over the ongoing massacre being perpetrated by the forces of Syrian President Bashar Assad against innocent civilians, which continued over the weekend in Houla and included dozens of innocent children," a press release stated.

UN condemns Syria massacre
27 May 2012  After an emergency meeting in New York, the Syrian ambassador to the UN, Bashar Jaafari, denounced the tsunami of lies.
YEAH, I agree.  There is a tsunami of LIES - worldwide!

UN condemns Syria for Houla massacre
The UN said those responsible for the killings must be held accountable.
PROBLEM IS - WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?  Dont believe anything you hear.
The UN Security Council has condemned the use of heavy weapons by Syria government during a massacre.
Syria UN envoy said Syrian forces were not to blame.  That may be true!

Arabs, US drill off Aqaba
May 29, 2012  DEBKAfile Exclusive
The US-Arab Eager Lion exercise ends Wednesday, May 30, after 12,000 mostly American as well as Saudi, Jordanian, Qatari and UAE special forces troops staged three weeks of joint maneuvers in Jordan.
3,000 US, Jordanian and Saudi troops practiced landings and rapid seizure of mountain bases resembling the 3 islands in the Strait of Hormuz where Iran has bases.
Special forces carried out practice operations backed by air assault helicopters in northern Jordan near the Syrian border.
May 25 a Russian arms ship, the Katsman, anchored at Tartus Syria and unloaded Military equipment  to waiting Syrian military trucks.

RUSSIA BACKS DOWN!?
May 29, 2012  DEBKA Exclusive - Russian arms ship turned away from Syria.
Putin ordered the Russian arms ship Katsman to stop unloading its cargo at Tartus, sail east and wait for fresh orders.

Incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin concluded that Moscow's handling of the Houla massacre and Syrian collapse into civil war
will go down as a Russian foreign policy failure.  Putin personally comes out as the patron of a bloodthirsty tyrant.
Both Assad and the 'rebels' were blamed at first.

It turned out that the massacre was perpetrated by the Alawites. Their victims were slaughtered in their homes by Alawites wielding knives and guns.
Syria has thousands of towns divided by barricades, some for and some against Assad.  The Houla massacre is therefore apt to be repeated across the country, plunging it into a full-blown civil war.

Moscow is beginning to fear that Russia may be stigmatized as an accessory.
Moscow claims they no longer back Bashar Assad, and instead, endorse the UN envoy Kofi Annan.  Annan is a lying scoundrel.

Western intervention in Syria will bring worse tyrants than Assad
May 29,  2012    Israel Opinion
Dr. Bashar Assad is a wicked, conscienceless dictator.  He has blood on his hands, and has outdone his father, Hafez Assad, in terms of brutality.
The eye doctor from Damascus is responsible not only for the murder of thousands of his own citizens, but
also for the firing of thousands of missiles at Israel by his Hezbollah emissaries and allies.

I only wish bad things for Assad and his regime.  The heart is outraged and the blood boils when one sees the images and hears the reports from Syria.
Yet I do not think that the West should militarily intervene in what goes on there.

Thousands were killed during the Iraq war to topple Saddam Hussein and change the regime in Iraq. The outcome is still unclear. (Not really.  Iran now controls Iraq.)
In Afghanistan too, the US became entangled in the longest war in its history.  America will apparently withdraw from Afghanistan next year with its tail between its legs, as the Taliban retakes power.

Mitt Romney's Syria Policy Is Basically Barack Obama's Syria Policy
May 30, 2012  Last night, Mitt Romney slammed President Obama's handling of the Syrian conflict while offering an alternative plan that basically mirrors the White House's position. Like with Libya, Romney's finding it harder to stake out distinct policy positions than airing vague protests of the president's competence.

In his Tuesday statement, Romney said "we should work with partners to arm the opposition so they can defend themselves," which had some journalists, like The New York Times' Mark Landler, saying Romney was taking a more interventionist approach. That might seem true in light of White House Press Secretary Jay Carney saying the administration is against "further militarization of the situation in Syria" but for practical purposes, the two policies are the same.

Syria WMD is a problem
May 31, 2012   DEBKA
Barack Hussein Obama is preoccupied with Al qaeda (the CIA) grabbing Syrian chemical and biological weapons.
0bama wants Russia to accept his plan for worthless UN monitors in Syria to take charge of the WMD.
O sure!  The UN are terrorists!  They will happily GIVE WMD to anyone opposed to Israel or the USA.
0bama hates both USA and Israel.  His plan!  uh huh.

Obama suggested that most of the monitors would be Russian or Arabs.
(Enemies of US-Israel.)
0bama spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti, to brief them.
There is no way to know what is true amid the flood of lies everywhere!  Sad.
http://debka.com/article/22043/Ex...ent-Al-Qaeda-grabbing-Syrian-WMD-

Al Qaeda does not exist
Al Qaeda (Muslim Brotherhood) means 'The Base' and was formed by the CIA, so when news reports
Al Qaeda you think 'Islam' truth is, its USA.  Al CIAqaeda.  The GOAL of Islam, 0bama, al qaeda,
the vatican, 'the rebels' is to take over the entire world including USA, and is rapidly accomplishing this.

Putin spokesman says Russia not shifting on Syria

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia is not considering changing its stance on Syria and any attempts to apply pressure on Moscow are "hardly appropriate", President Vladimir Putin's spokesman said on Wednesday.

"It would make sense to expect a continuation of the Russian Federation's consistent and well-argued line" on Syria during Putin's visit to Germany and France on Friday, Dmitry Peskov told Reuters.

Putin will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in brief visits to Berlin and Paris, part of his first foreign trip since he returned to Russia's presidency for a six-year term on May 7.

Russia, which has blunted Western efforts to condemn President Bashar al-Assad and push him from power over 15 months of bloodshed, has been urged to stop supporting the government after a massacre Western nations blame on Assad's forces.

Laughing     Nasrallah nephew nabbed!    Laughing
It would take a LOT of sophistication to get them, which only the USA / Russia have.

June 2, 2012   DEBKA Exclusive
Syrian rebels abduct 5 top Hellzballah officers, including Nasrallah nephew and security chief, captured on a bus heading back from Iran.

Hussein Hamid, Dep. Commander of Hellzballah in South Lebanon.

AP Interview: UN official says no to Syria amnesty
By DON MELVIN | Associated Press – 6/2/12

BRUSSELS (AP) — The U.N.'s top human rights official said Saturday that there should be no amnesty for serious crimes committed in Syria, even if the threat of prosecution might motivate members of the regime to cling to power at all costs.

Asked if Syrian President Bashar Assad should be allowed to leave power in exchange for safe haven, U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said international leaders seeking peace may be drawn to "politically expedient solutions which may involve amnesty or undertakings not to prosecute."

But she said that would be wrong under international law.

"You cannot have amnesty for very serious crimes," she told The Associated Press during an interview in Brussels. "So my message is very clear — there has to be accountability."

Lawyers for former Liberian President Charles Taylor, who was sentenced Wednesday by the Special Court for Sierra Leone to 50 years in prison, had argued that giving him a long sentence would send the wrong message to Assad.

Will Israel attack Hellzballah Scuds?
June 3, 2012   DEBKA Exclusive
Lebanese Hellzballah is getting ready to bring its missiles and other weapons out of secret storage in Syria to Lebanon.
Two years ago, Israel had warned that the Scuds would be destroyed if they were moved over to Lebanon.
Hellzballah kept its most advanced hardware stashed near Damascus.
Now Iran-Hellzballah want them in Lebanon without exposing them to Israeli attack.
One plan is for Hellzballah and Palestinian Muslim terrorists in Gaza to both attack Israel.

Turkey, Russia both now support Assad
Turkey told the Free Syrian Army they have withdrawn permission for them to launch operations against the Assad regime from Turkish soil.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (IRAN), Bashar Assad (SYRIA) and Hassan 'Nasty' Nasrallah (Lebanon) confront the United States and Israel with the deployment of Scuds aimed at Israel from Lebanon.
This is serious to Israeli defense!

Syria warplanes on fire
June 3, 2012  DEBKA Exclusive
Rebels set Syrian fighter jets and helicopters ablaze opposite Golan
I am assuming the 'rebels' are Muslim Brotherhood jihadists.

Rebels attacked a Syrian Air Force base east of Deraa opposite the Israeli Golan border.
They set fire to fighter aircraft and assault helicopters in their hangars and ripped up runways at the Suwayda air base.
Suwayda is opposite Israeli forces

In northern Syria, the rebels are showing up with T-HOMS 75, improvised armored vehicles sporting anti-air rockets or heavy machine guns.
They are capable of downing the aircraft or combat helicopters.
These APC’s are essentially Toyota pickups fitted with steel plates to protect fighters.

Iran helping Assad kill

June , 2012  Iran is providing Syrian President Bashar Assad with weapons and personnel for wholesale murder of his own people.
Iran and Hellzballah (and Russia) are participating in the slaughter.
Iran already has explosive material called fissile material prepared from enriched uranium.

Netanyahu praised German Chancellor Angela Merkels commitment to Israels security, and said it was exemplified by the recent sale of another German submarine.
Germany already supplied Israel with 3 Dolphin-class submarines, with another 3 scheduled to be delivered by 2017.
