Looks like these minions are ultimately trying to hang their own selves.

Russell Crowe and Mark Burnett Engage in Twitter War of Biblical Proportions

Mark Burnett, the producer of the hit television shows Survivor, The Voice, The Amazing Race and the Son of God movie, tweeted a friendly message to actor Russell Crowe about his newly released film, Noah, last night that kicked off a two-hour Twitter battle of biblical proportions.

Noah, the hotly debated film by Darren Aronofsky, soared to number one at the box office this weekend—taking in $44 million in domestic ticket sales. So far, in its fifth week, Burnett’s Son of God has taken in more than $57 million.

A source close to Burnett says it started out with this harmless tweet: “Hey @RussellCrowe Son of God trumps Noah every time.” But, as our source says, “Russell didn’t take the friendly tweet the way it was intended.” This short tweet began a Twitter battle between producer and actor over artistic quality, biblical accurateness and box office potential.

Russell Crowe replied to Burnett on Twitter and said the Son of God might trump Noah in the Bible, but not at the box office. He also added a few digs on the low-budget quality of SOG—saying it was “campy” and “too American.” Things quickly went downhill from there.

Burnett fired back saying the only thing that could save Noah at the box office was the actual second coming of Christ, to which Crowe responded, “I haven’t been touched by an angel and my movie doesn’t need saving—the writing’s on the wall. #SticktoTV” To which Burnett simple tweeted back “#Rock People.”

A source close to Russell Crowe says the actor was deeply disturbed by the Twitter argument with Burnett—so much so that he’s likely to turn down a starring role in Shem, a loosely-based sequel on the son of Noah.

The tweets have since been taken down, but the Twitter battle ended with Burnett proposing a wager—after one year, whoever has the least grossing film should fast for 40 days in the desert outside Palm Springs.

The NOAH movie is evil, will do HARM not good

The movie NOAH will do more HARM than good.
Do not go see it.  Stuff in there will put sickness in your mind.
Ken Hamm went to see it and is very disturbed by it.
He believes the producers / writers did this intentionally to violate God and Noah.

The Noah Movie: Our Detailed Review
A team of researchers from Answers in Genesis viewed the new Noah film.
Based on reviews from trusted friends of the ministry who had seen the movie, including a staff member, we were hesitant to spend any money on watching this unbiblical picture. But AiG had already received hundreds of inquiries about our position on the film even before it was released, so we believed it was necessary for AiG’s research team to write an eyewitness review.

Does this mean that every Christian should watch this movie before they can determine whether it is good or bad?
Not at all. “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14).
We are offering our counsel here with this movie review, and we have already posted an initial brief review of the movie and hosted a live webcast discussing the subject. Our desire is to provide wise counsel to those who may consider attending this film that we cannot in any way endorse.

14 Cold, Hard Facts About Noah’s Ark That You Probably Do Not Know

The new Hollywood blockbuster “Noah” has created a tremendous amount of interest in the story of Noah’s Ark.  Traditionally, most people have regarded it as just a cute Bible story to tell children.  But could it be real?  Is there solid evidence that Noah’s Ark actually existed?  If there is real evidence, would you believe it?  What you are about to see is absolutely stunning.  In fact, some of the things that you are about to see are so shocking that many people will simply refuse to accept them.  Later in this article, you are going to see video footage of the physical remains of Noah’s Ark.  This discovery has been known about for quite some time, but the mainstream media has mostly ignored it.  A boat-shaped object that is the exact length that the Ark should be and the exact width the Ark should be has been found on the mountains of Ararat.  Ground penetrating radar shows us how the Ark was laid out, and scientific tests have been conducted on wood and metal extracted from the gigantic buried boat.  If you have never heard about any of this before, prepare to be blown away.  The following are 14 cold, hard facts about Noah’s Ark that you probably do not know…

#1 The Ark was about 500 feet long.  That would make it approximately the size of a World War II aircraft carrier.

#2 It has been estimated that the Ark had an internal volume of more than 1.5 million cubic feet.

#3 According to brand new research conducted by scientists the University of Leicester, Noah’s Ark could have carried at least 70,000 animals without sinking…

Noah’s Ark would have floated even with two of every animal in the world packed inside, scientists have calculated.

Although researchers are unsure if all the creatures could have squeezed into the huge boat, they are confident it would have handled the weight of 70,000 creatures without sinking.

#4 Of course the Ark would not have needed to hold 70,000 animals.  One conservative estimate puts the number of animals on the Ark at about 16,000.  This would have allowed for more than enough room for food, supplies and lots of empty space.

#5 We have discovered at least 250 different ancient cultures that have a story of a massive, cataclysmic flood.  Most of those stories have striking similarities to the Genesis account.

#6 If there really was a global flood, we would expect to find billions of dead things laid down in rock layers all over the globe.  And that is precisely what we find.

#7 We know where Noah’s Ark is today.  Yes, you read that correctly.  As you can see from the YouTube video posted below, the remains of Noah’s Ark have been discovered on “the mountains of Ararat” in Turkey.  This video footage is absolutely stunning…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w...tsnGs&feature=player_embedded

#8 The remains of the Ark are just as long and just as wide as the Bible says they should be.

#9 Wood from the Ark has been tested, and the tests show that it does contain organic carbon.  That means that the fossilized wood that was discovered was once living matter.

#10 Along with wood, metal was also used in the construction of the Ark.  Iron fittings and aluminum have both been discovered at the remains of the Ark.

#11 Petrified animal dung, a petrified antler and and an ancient piece of cat hair have also been retrieved from the remains of the Ark.

#12 Historical records confirm that people have believed that this is the correct resting place of the Ark for a very, very long time…

The Gilgamesh Epic (650 BC) gives Mt. Nisir as the landing place of the Ark. The local name for the town where the Ark was found is Nasar.

The annals of Ashurnasurpal II of Assyria (833-859 BC) places it south of the Zab river (correct).

Theophilus of Antioch (115-185 AD) said the Ark could be seen in his day in the Arabian mountains. Later Church Fathers also mention the Ark as late as the mid 7th century.

In the 13th century, Willam, a traveler, stated for the first time that Mt. Masis was the Ark location (present-day Mt. Ararat).

Ptolemy’s Geographia (1548) mentions the mountains of Armenia as the place of landing. So does the traveler Nicolas de Nicolay (1558).

#13 A village near the remains of the Ark is known as “the Village of Eight”, and a nearby valley is known as “the Valley of the Eight”.  There were eight survivors on the Ark.

#14 The site is now known as “the National Park of Noah’s Ark” and it has previously been officially recognized by the Turkish government.

If you are interested in learning more, you can find additional videos about this incredible discovery here and here.

When I was young, I desperately hoped that Noah’s Ark would be found someday, but I doubted that it would ever happen.

Well, it has happened.

We have found Noah’s Ark.

It is not just a story for little children.

So will you believe the evidence, or will you just dismiss it because it does not fit with your current worldview?

7 of the Worst Mistakes in the Movie 'Noah'
I wanted to like the new film until I realized it wasn't based on the Bible.
It's been more than a week since I saw the new movie Noah, and I'm still scratching my head and reading Genesis to clear my brain. Not since The Last Temptation of Christ in 1988 has Hollywood so irreverently botched a Bible story.

I wanted Noah to be good. We could use a loud reminder that God destroyed the world thousands of years ago with a flood.
The film is convoluted, bizarre and blasphemous.
Noah’s director, Darren Aronofsky, said his movie is “the least-biblical biblical film ever made.”
His goal all along was to create an alternative version of the Genesis story more in line with ancient gnostic heresies.

Meet the Real Noah
In the wake of the highly controversial film Noah, creationist Ken Ham has taken out billboards in the Hollywood-Los Angeles area and Times Square in New York City.

The new boards are designed to counter the anti-biblical Noah film and draw attention to the Creation Museum's excellent displays about the reality of Noah's flood and Noah's Ark.
Aronofsky's film blasphemes God, maligns the character of a righteous man, adds pagan and mystical elements, and twists the biblical narrative.

Genesis’ billboard campaign is a “public effort to expose the film’s unbiblical content.”
There are 11 “Meet the Real Noah” billboards that went up in the Hollywood-Los Angeles area early April.
“We have an obligation to send out a warning and in so doing also to communicate biblical truths and undo the possible damage that might be caused by this sci-fi fantasy, one that is making a mockery of the word of God and its true account of Noah, the flood and the ark,” Ham wrote.

The Noah Movie review
http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation-debate/noah-movie

Genesis 6
When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them,
the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.
Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide ina man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim (fallen ones - strongs) were on the earth in those days,
and also afterward,
when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them.
These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.
So the LORD said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

Genesis 7
When everything was ready, the LORD said to Noah,
Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I can see that you alone are righteous.
7 days from now I will make the rains pour down on the earth.
And it will rain for 40 days and 40 nights, until I have wiped from the earth all the living things I have created.
So Noah did everything as the LORD commanded him.

7 of the Worst Mistakes in the Movie 'Noah'

Excerpt:

1. Noah wasn’t distant from God. In Aronofsky’s film, Noah (played by Russell Crowe) is a tortured soul who senses through a dream that the mysterious “Creator” (He is never called God) plans to destroy the world with a flood. But in Genesis 6-8, much of the account involves direct communication from God to Noah (see 6:13; 7:1; 8:15). Noah was God’s close friend, and he understood Him.

2. Noah didn’t drink hallucinogenic tea to hear God’s directions. In the film, Noah visits his grandfather, Methuselah (Anthony Hopkins), who helps him understand that a global catastrophe is coming. Genesis 6 says God revealed this plan directly to Noah, yet in Aronofsky’s version, Methuselah serves Noah some dark tea (or was it coffee?) to help him hear the Creator’s voice. Nobody in the Bible—ever—had to take a drug or a potion to hear from God, and Noah certainly never visited a shaman.

3. Noah’s sons weren’t without wives on the ark. In Aronofsky’s fanciful version, only one of Noah’s sons, Shem, has a wife (played by Emma Watson)—and she ends up pregnant with twin girls who, we assume, will eventually become wives for Noah’s other two sons. Huh? In the Genesis account, God tells Noah: “You shall enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife, and your sons’ wives with you” (Gen. 6:18 ).

4. There were no stowaways on the ark. Aronofsky adds preposterous drama to Noah by having the evil warlord Tubal-Cain (Ray Winstone) sneak on board the ark and hide in the shadows near sleeping bears and goats. He then attempts to kill Noah with the help of Noah’s son Ham—who is angry that his dad didn’t arrange to find him a wife before the rain started.

5. Noah didn’t get help from giant rock creatures when he built the ark. Aronofsky borrowed this weird concept from ancient Jewish mystics who suggested that the angels God cast out of heaven after creation were encased in rock and walked around helping human beings. In Noah, the giants, called “watchers,” chop down the wood for the massive ark and defend it from an invading army. All this made for some great digital effects, but the Bible says God cast these disobedient angels into hell (2 Pet. 2:4), not to earth, and they certainly weren’t sent here to help mankind.

6. Noah was not a deranged killer bent on stopping his family from reproducing. The second half of Noah was the worst part. After the flood begins, the man God uses to save all animals and humans from destruction decides God doesn’t want the human race to survive. He becomes a psychopath and threatens to kill his daughter-in-law’s child when she gives birth! The biblical Noah would never have tried to prevent repopulation. Noah understood he and his family had been commissioned to replenish the earth (Gen. 9:1).

7. The descendants of Adam did not treat the skin of a serpent as a family heirloom. Noah gets downright creepy whenever a character pulls out this snakeskin talisman. These scenes prove that Aronofsky based his film not so much on the biblical account of the flood but on gnostic writings. Centuries ago, some Jewish mystics taught that the God of Genesis was really a loser and that Satan was a better god. The subtle implication is that Noah needed Satan’s help, not God’s.

At the end of the flood story in Genesis, Noah gathers his family around the altar for worship, and they enter into a covenant with Him. But in the movie, just before the rainbow appears, Noah wraps the snakeskin around his arm and blesses his family with it. In a similar way, this film is wrapped in a serpent’s skin—and that’s why I will be more cautious next time when a Hollywood studio tries to get Christians to buy tickets to their “biblical” blockbuster.

Here's is a prime example(which I discussed earlier) over how TPTB will target Christians(with deception) using this Hegelian Dialectic game...

They KNOW that this very Christian audience sees the big deceptions in this "Noah" movie, so they quietly slip through ANOTHER heretical movie("God's Not Dead") by releasing it around the same time. So ultimately, while ALL of the (negative)attention is focused on "Noah", the mainline Churchianity audience is quietly shown an "alternative".

Problem - a big budget, big hyped "Christian" movie with many doctrinal errors gets put in the market.

Reaction - This very Churchianity audience wants something done about it.

Solution - Another "alternative" Churchianity film gets quietly put in the market, and has the APPEARANCE that it is doctrinally OK.

Ultimately, whatever happened to witnessing to others by showing them the WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE?(and NOT some "Christian" Hollywood movie)

http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/...-closely-tied-with-gods-not-dead/
4/13/14
‘Noah’ Now Closely Tied With ‘God’s Not Dead’

Noah, the fanatical environmentalist anti-religious move, has crashed to 6th place, where it’s closely tied with God’s Not Dead, a Christian film.

Noah had a budget of $125 million and is struggling to make that back. God’s Not Dead has a budget of $2 million and has made it back many times over.

Noah is playing in over 3,282 theaters, while God’s Not Dead is playing in 1,860 theaters. While the final box office figures for the weekend aren’t in yet, current estimates place Noah in 6th place with $7 million for the weekend and God’s Not Dead in 7th place with $5.47 million for the weekend.

Per theater estimates are too preliminary to list, but it’s clear that God’s Not Dead is doing much better per theater than Noah.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Uhm....

1) The damage is already done with "Noah", b/c they DID find a big audience for it(one way or another), albeit with unbelievers(so pretty much unbelievers that saw it all but confirmed their anti-Christian beliefs). It's making a lot of money in international markets(so throw in future DVD/cable tv revenue, it will be a profit-maker for them).

BOX OFFICE:

NOAH. Worldwide take: $246,872,000 (Budget: $125 Million )

GOD’s NOT DEAD. Box office: $41 Million ( Budget: $2 Million )

2) Ever read Foxe's Book of Martyrs? Born-again believers were burned at the stake - it wasn't like their lives were some money-making, popularity contest. And for that matter too, Apostle Paul was beaten 39 times(and was ultimately persecuted at his death).

Ultimately - 20-30 years ago, even these "Christian" movies like "God's Not Dead" would have been avoided by the Churchianity crowd. Now? It's as if they think it's some big witnessing tool to bring a "revival" to this world.

1Timothy 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Are the End Times Upon Us?
Unrestrained immorality mirrors pandemic Godlessness as seen in the Holy Bible.
Is mankind on a path toward ever-increasing moral depravity, social chaos and destruction?
Jeff Kinley sees human beings continuously and perilously cutting God out of society.

He draws parallels between contemporary culture and the pandemic godlessness of the earth as it was in the Days of Noah.
Human behavior then and now isnt all that different.

Society treatment of God mirrors the Bibles depiction of the end times.
Current conditions match Matthew 24 among other references.
Ezekiel 37:12 says that Israel (Jews) will be re-gathered to their land. There are more Jews moving there every day than there have been in 20 centuries.
The end times could be rapidly approaching.
