TURKEY WARNS against Cyprus gas bid
18 May 2012 Turkey said companies bidding to develop Cyprus Mediterranean offshore gas fields would be shut out of Turkish energy projects.
Turkey does not recognise the Nicosia Greek government, which is Cyprus sole authority.
Turkey is a bully and a pirate, but is a NATO member.
One company threatened is Nobel, a Texas USA company.
Russians shoot Turk plane down, Turkey Calls NATO
24 June 2012 What do I think happened? I am suspicious, no plane or crew.
I think the Beast made sure this occurred, for its own evil purposes.
Turkey has called on NATO over Syria-Russia attack on 'unarmed' Turk F-4 Phantom jet in international airspace.
Turkey said the jet was shot down without warning and without provocation.
Ankara has asked for the meeting based on Article 4 of the NATO charter.
Turkish FM said Turk jet was downed after it accidentally entered Syria on a reconnaissance mission.
Syria said it had killed several terrorists who infiltrated Friday from Turkey.
The two countries share a border about 400 miles (600 kilometers) long.
Syria has insisted the jet was engaged while it was inside its airspace.
It has also said no act of hostility was intended. Eh?
The coast guard is still searching for the crew in the Mediterranean Sea, though hopes are fading of them being found alive.
Wreckage of downed Turkish jet found in Syrian waters
Search teams have located the wreckage of a Turkish fighter jet shot down by Syria on Friday in Syrian waters at a depth of 1,300 meters.
Turkish search-and-rescue teams found the wreckage of the fighter jet in the Mediterranean Sea on Sunday, about 1,300 meters (4,260 feet) .
They have not reached the wreck yet, he added. There was no word about survivors of the two-man crew.
The incident raises the temperature between the two regional powers significantly.
Erdogan: Turkish army to respond to any Syrian violation
June 26, 2012 On background of Syrian shooting down of Turkish fighter jet, Erdogan warns of Ankara's "strong and devastating wrath";
NATO strongly condemns Syria for downing jet, expresses solidarity with Turkey.
Turkey deploys troops, tanks, guns on Syrian border
June 28, 2012 I believe very little these days. Everything is staged. Syria may have mistaken the Turkish plane they shot down for an Israeli one.
Turkey is deploying troops along its border with Syria.
Turkey declared Syria a clear and present danger and raised its rules of engagement to an alert level.
Syria downed 2 Turkish jets in June
July 12, 2012 Syrian anti-aircraft forces downed two Turkish figter jets last month, not just one.
The pilots of the second plane managed to eject in time and parachuted to safety.

Turkey's nightmares coming true in Syria
August 8, 2012 Turkey border chaos.
Turkey's worst nightmares are beginning to come true in Syria - a Kurdish-controlled region on their border with Syria.
The Syrian conflict is also poisoning Ankara's relations with Iran and complicating ties with Russia.
Dont pity Turkey! That WAS a western-friendly nation until 2 years ago when it changed to hardcore jihad Islam.

Syrian MB rebels under Turkish command -BAD!
September 6, 2012 Foreign intervention in Syria as Turkey takes some power.
Turkish officers have assumed direct command of 2 Syrian rebel brigades fighting Bashar Assad.
HIGH ALERT on Israel northern borders with Syria and Lebanon.
Turkey expected to take command of additional rebel units, not all of them FSA.
Sept. 5 Iron Dome was installed in Gush Dan (Tel Aviv) to head off Hellzballah missiles.
Turkey PM called regime in Syria a terrorist state, laying international legal ground for expanding Turkish military intervention in Syria.
DO NOT believe the US was taken by surprise. This has been the plan.
Turkey and Egypt seek alliance
September 21, 2012 The Ottoman empire ruled the Middle East and beyond.
Egypt and Turkey want that again. Each wants to speak for the Middle East.
For now they are working together.
Turkey is relatively stable and prosperous. Their PM Erdogan has tried to start war on Israel for 2 years, so he is a jihadist, terrorist, like the MB of Egypt.
Both want Syrian President Bashar Assad to quit.
Yes, because Assad is moderate compared to Egypt-Turkey.
Turkey split with former ally Israel and sparred with traditional rival Iran.
Turkey deploys heavy weapons to Syrian border
September 23, 2012 Turkey's military deployed armoured vehicles and heavy weaponary to the border with Syria on Saturday, near a crossing that has seen intense fighting between rebels and government forces, local media said. The Turkish army moved three Howitzers and one anti-aircraft weapon to the border.

Turkey, Syria trade artillery fire for fourth day
October 6, 2012 BEIRUT
Turkey and Syria traded artillery fire for the fourth day in a row Saturday as rebels clashed with Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces near the border, heightening fears that the crisis could erupt into a regional conflict.
Also Saturday, Syrian Defence Minister Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij vowed to crush the rebellion and bring the violence that has engulfed the country to an end.
The diplomatic crisis began on Wednesday, when a Syrian shell killed five civilians in a Turkish border town and triggered unprecedented artillery strikes by Turkey. Ankara has deployed more troops to its southern border with Syria and has responded to each shell that has struck Turkish soil with its own artillery barrage.
On Friday, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan cautioned Damascus not to test Turkey’s “limits and determination” and said Ankara was not bluffing in saying it won’t tolerate such acts.
Turkish military helicopter crashes
October 11, 2012 Israel News Ynet
Turkey's state-run agency says a military helicopter has crashed, killing a soldier on board.
The Anadolu agency says three soldiers were also injured Thursday when the helicopter tried to make an emergency landing after accidentally hitting power lines.
Turkish armed forces on full alert
War tensions over Syria continued when Turkey army was placed on alert for any hostile act by Syria
Turkey forced a Syrian civilian Airbus A320 plane en route from Moscow to Damascus to land in Ankara and declaring Syrian airspace unsafe, the first step toward a no-fly zone over Syria. Moscow responded with a demand from Ankara for clarifications claiming that 17 Russians were aboard that flight.
The Airbus was released after the military cargo was impounded.
US-Turkey have carved out a 10-kilometer buffer strip on Syrian land.
Russian S-400s relocated near Turkey
October 18, 2012 Hizballah has begun moving rockets and fighters from the Litani River of South Lebanon to the Syrian front line at Homs.
Hizballah forward line against Israel is still in place,
This is a striking reversal.
This means that Hizballah has no fear of Israel.
UN Amb. Susan Rice said Hizballah now part of Assad killing machine.
Even better for Assad, Moscow has announced S-400 interceptor missile batteries in Russia, southern military region opposite Turkey.
Russia described those missiles as targeting Turkey.
S-400s are capable of destroying all types of airplanes, as well as ultra-stratospheric and ballistic missiles.
Turkish PM in Cairo vows support for Gaza
Nov. 17, 2012 CAIRO (AP) — Turkey's prime minister has vowed support for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan described Egypt's uprising that ousted longtime autocratic leader Hosni Mubarak from power last year as a point of hope for Palestinians. The Turkish leader delivered his remarks in a speech at Cairo University Saturday.
He also met President Mohammed Morsi in Cairo for the first time since the Egyptian Islamist leader was elected late June.
The Turkish leader is in Egypt with a delegation of 12 ministers and 350 businessmen.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people protested outside the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, where Arab foreign ministers are meeting to discuss Israel's expanded fierce air assault on rocket operations in Gaza, which is run by the Islamic militant Hamas group.
Sinai, Egypt, Turkey, Russia and (cough) truce
Nov. 18, 2012 Israel launches fresh, major air-sea attack on Gaza after Hamas spurns ceasefire.
Egypt and Turkey mediate and Gaza. Thats a joke.
Day 5 of IDF Gaza operation after daylong bargaining Saturday among Washington, Jerusalem, Cairo and Gaza failed to produce an Israel-Hamas truce.
WHY does Israel bother with any 'truce' with Muslims, the Muslims dont keep them. Israel cant be that dumb!
Egypt and Turkey 'ceasefire' only pushed Hamas unacceptable terms.
Egypt smuggled Hamas terror chief Haniyeh out of Gaza and over to Sinai.
Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi decided that Haniyeh must be continuously available by phone to lead the Hamas side in the ceasefire negotiations.
This was not possible so long as the Hamas prime minister remained in Gaza.
All of Hamas leaders are hiding for fear of targeted assassination by Israel.
They have switched off their phones and electronic communications to avoid giving away their locations to Israeli surveillance.
Haniyeh was even afraid to communicate with Cairo through the Egyptian military mission in Gaza.
Moving Haniyeh to Sinai put a Hamas negotiator in place to lead a truce.
Turkey is a Hamas terror base since Obama began war in Syria.
Israel insists that a ceasefire be signed between the US, Egypt, Turkey and Israel, and exclude Hamas, which would be bound by a separate agreement with Cairo.
Israel wants the United States to act as guarantor for a ceasefire. Erdogan has invited Russian President Putin.
ISRAEL HAS NO FRIEND in THAT GROUP!
Hamas has rejected all of Israel's terms. Surprise, surprise.
Israeli objectives - eliminating Hamas war arsenals and restoring peace to the population of Israel.
The ground operation will not go forward so long as there is a chance of a ceasefire unless there is escalation from Hamas or a strike that caused significant casualties.
Russian Expert Warns Of Possibility Of Large-Scale Middle East War
In an interview with the Voice of Russia, Russian analyst Konstantin Sivkov said: “Deploying these missiles in Turkey will be dangerous for Syrian military planes – this is obvious. A lesser obvious thing is that Turkey is getting ready for a war against Syria. If an attack on Syria from the territory of Turkey does take place, this will most likely be an attack not of the Turkish army, but of NATO’s forces.” “The Middle East is getting ready for a large-sale battle which will very likely affect the Russian part of the Caucasus, and this, in its turn, will be reflected on the entire Russia,” Mr. Sivkov added. The planned deployment by NATO countries of Patriot air defence systems on Turkey’s Syria border will actually amount to the imposition of a no-fly zone for Syrian aircraft in circumvention of the UN Security Council.
