Israel violence not Magog, but keep an eye on Turkey
November 20, 2012
 bill Wilson
Many are pointing to passages in the Bible in connection with the current violent conflict in Israel that has brought the Middle East to the precipice of war. Like layers of an onion leading to the core, the violence is a type and shadow of prophetic fulfillment, but it is not the Magog War. We can see, however, that certain players are edging closer to the actual Ezekiel 38 prophecy where Gog of Magog leads Islamic nations against Israel in a colossal end time battle where only the return of the Messiah saves the remnant of Israel from total destruction. We now see how modern day Turkey is coming closer into the prophetic obit as prophesied in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 38:3 says, “And say, Thus saith the LORD YHVH; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.” Ezekiel goes on to prophesy that Gog will lead Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, Togarmah, Sheba, Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish against Israel. Gog is the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Magog, Meshech and Tubal were part of the Assyrian Empire located in modern day Turkey--as was Tarsus, Gomer, and Togarmah. Sheba and Dedan were located in what is now Saudi Arabia. Persia is Iran. Ethiopia is Sudan and Eastern Northern Africa. Libya is Western Northern Africa. There are many ancient maps on the internet and in libraries that independently verify this. One is below:

As Israel is attacked by the terrorist group Hamas, the Occupant of the Oval Office has called on the Prime Minister of Turkey and the President of Egypt “about steps that could be taken to bring an end to the violence.” These were chosen because they have a relationship with Hamas and the other terrorist groups in the Middle East. Egypt’s Morsi is from the Muslim Brotherhood, which serves as a uniting umbrella for the terrorist organizations. Turkey’s Erdogan is considered a major player in representing the Islamic side of “reason.” But Turkey’s involvement is prophetically significant and the US President elevating Turkey to be a main broker of peace plays directly into the Ezekiel end time prophecy.

Meanwhile, we see yet another aspect of this prophecy. All these nations are coming against Israel. Yet the Ezekiel coalition is not yet complete as we see it today.Turkey, with ancient roots from the Assyrian Empire including Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, Magog, and Togarmah that point directly to the leadership of Gog, is also being pulled into the orbit of the Syrian rebellion as the violence increases. Turkey long has been building diplomatic credibility since the Islamic Caliphate ended in Turkey in 1922. This was the last empire that ruled over the vast majority of nations mentioned as coming against Israel in the end times, leading many to believe that a revived Islamic Caliphate is antichrist empire.

Egypt, Iran, Turkey, a prophetic union
Friday, November 23, 2012  Bill Wilson

Middle East analysts not only for media organizations, but also at the State Department and within the intelligence community continually say that the only thing Sunni and Shiite Muslims hate worse than each other is Jews and Israel. These analysts see no way in which the Sunni and Shiite leadership will work together long enough to unite against their stated common enemy. Cited often is the serious and real divide between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran. The Saudis and Egypt do not want a Middle East controlled by Iran. The two sides of the division will fight to the death if they are given the opportunity. With the one exception being Israel.

Islam has its origins in the Bible. Genesis 16:11-12 prophesies to Hagar the Egyptian handmaiden of Abraham’s wife Sarah: “And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” The Hebrew translation says “living his life at odds with all his kinsmen.” Instead of Isaac, Muslims consider Ishmael the chosen son of Abraham. This theme is repeated with Jacob’s brother Esau, who married Ishmael’s daughter Bashemath as well as Canaaanite women (Genesis 36:2). Islam’s founder, Muhammad, claimed to be a direct descendent of Ishmael.

Ezekiel 38 gives a coalition of nations that come against Israel. They are led by Gog, the chief prince of Magog. The areas mentioned in connection to Gog originate from the Assyrian Empire and are located in modern Turkey. These are descendants of the Egyptian Hagar. Persia is also mentioned, which is modern Iran. In modern terms, these players represent both Shiite and Sunni Muslims who unite against Israel in the “acharit-hayamim,” meaning the end of days. They will do battle against Israel and YHVH will destroy them with earthquakes, fire and brimstone. Ezekiel 36: 21 follows the prophesy in Genesis, saying, “...every man’s sword shall be against his brother.”

When we see news stories where the terrorist leadership of Hamas extends a public “thank you” (AFP Nov 19) to Egypt’s president Morsi and Iran (who he says “had a role in arming” Hamas), we can see how Shiite and Sunni can put aside their differences and unify against Israel. Furthermore, they came into union as Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogen and Morsi worked together at the request of the president of the United States. This is a clear instance where we can see how modern politics can work hand in hand to fulfill ancient prophecies. These prophecies are yet unfulfilled, but like layers of an onion that eventually bring us to the core, layers of prophecy are being revealed with the help of global politics.

Exclamation   Plethora of madness!  -  Bill Wilson
Never in the history of my lifetime have I seen so many things coming at us from so many directions. Our way of life is threatened not only by the government we continue to elect, but also by the consequences of its and our actions or inaction. The Founding Fathers based the Constitution off of Biblical principles. They established the Bill of Rights, of which there were 10 (a parallel to the 10 Commandments) to protect the rights of the citizens from an overpowering government. Now it seems that each of those rights are under siege every day from some faction. Your right to free speech and religious expression is chief among them. The right to own guns, the right to privacy - all under threat.

It is incredible that this government is allowed to do what it does. It is the height of hypocrisy. Think about it. The occupant of the Oval Office wants to introduce several pieces of legislation aimed at taking away your Constitutional right to bear arms because a handful of mentally ill people are using guns to kill innocent children. Yet this same man demands a non-enumerated right of abortion on demand, tax funding of Planned Parenthood, even promotion of late term abortions. This results in nearly a million pre-born babies being snuffed out every year--legal infanticide by the millions. Politicians don’t want to ban guns because of children, but rather because they are a threat to totalitarianism.

Furthermore, the Attorney General says that guns should be taken away from citizens. Yet it is his department that oversaw “Fast and Furious” where the US made assault weapons available to Mexican drug cartels resulting in a US Border Agent being killed as well as other crimes committed against US citizens. Hypocrisy? A premise of a Constitutional Republic is government protecting the rights of its citizens, securing personal liberties by following general laws. A government that strives to take away those rights in the name of protecting rights is insidious, usurping rights, abusing power, becoming dictatorial. This will continue unimpeded until the people of this nation find their bearing.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of YHVH, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus), that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” Because of the self indulgence of the “Church” rather than being grounded in the principles of Christ, the time is fast approaching that Americans will live in physical bondage. Perhaps that will cause us to become more spiritually free. But isn’t it best to be both physically and spiritually free in Christ? Why accept the plethora of madness as the new normal? Why not desire and demand the best?

The prophetic journey - 2013 - Bill Wilson
Of the thousands of folks who receive The Daily Jot there is great diversity of opinion about how their Christianity should be played out. You are reading this because you do care about your walk with Christ, your relationship with YHVH God. I believe you are reading The Daily Jot because you care about others’ souls. And I believe you are reading The Daily Jot because you want to have greater understanding of the times from a Biblical worldview. 2012 was a landmark year in that our nation, its morals, its people, its government, deteriorated in many prophetic ways--it was landmark in that political leadership became prophetically active in supporting the very enemies of God in their quest to build worldwide dominion.

We as a Christian people are going to have to decide. Perhaps that decision is already made. I hope not. But we are going to have to decide what role we are to play in this prophetic end time. We are being led headlong into supporting evil with our tax money, with our integration into society, in almost all aspects of our life. By going along with it, we are supporting it. Now I know that this will spark internal debate, and many will be angry saying that they do not support the anti-God agenda of this dark and dying world. But phone calls, letters, emails, prayers amiss, wailing, declaring, are not getting the job done. Things are getting worse, not better. So we must determine where we stand in all of this.

First, I would encourage all Daily Jot readers to do a personal study on the end times using only the Bible that you might know exactly what we are dealing with. Do not use what teachers have taught or the latest commentary from your favorite preacher. Read and study the end times in the context of the Bible. You will find that from Genesis to Revelation that the Bible points to the return of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus Christ, and all that will occur when he returns. If you truly understand the end times from a contextual Biblical perspective--not various theories of what the latest televangelist or hot author has to say--you will know more precisely what we are facing and what to do about it.

Nehemiah tells how he led in rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. It wasn’t easy. Nehemiah 4:8-9 says, “And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it. Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.” Verse 17 says, “...every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.” Even after the wall was rebuilt, there was conspiracy and internal fighting. Our path forward as Christians is not going to be an easy one. We have to understand this and be prepared for it. Determining a righteous place in our prophetic destiny may take repentance, prayer, action with one hand, and defending our work and our lives with the other.

Can man impart the Holy Spirit?    NO!!!
Bill Wilson
Last week a friend told me about an experience he had at his church. He said that the leaders asked if anyone wanted to have “The Holy Spirit.” If so, he said, they needed to come up front where the leader was going to “impart” the Holy Spirit into those wanting the Holy Spirit. He said that the pastor asked everyone to point their hands toward the group and join with him in imparting the Holy Spirit into them. He said that he could feel “sort of a balloon extending out where he could actually rest his hand on it” while the impartation was taking place. At risk of offending someone, this is an example of bad doctrine and the deception that is going on in many churches.
It is non-biblical and nothing short of heresy.

I have been studying the doctrine and theology of many so-called “Christian” ministries that teach that men can lay hands on a person and “impart” and/or “activate” certain gifts such as the gift of prophecy, of being a prophet or apostle, gift of tongues, gift of whatever. There is a certain moral dualism at play here. People believe that there is good and evil. That God is good and that satan is evil. They believe that God limits himself by only working through man. Therefore, it is man, not God, who has control over whether evil is victorious or defeated. Man, therefore, has the same attributes as God and can impart them and activate them at will in other men. This is not scriptural.

Those supporting this concept use Acts 8 as their justification. It is the story of Peter and John going to Samaria to pray for those who received the word of YHVH. Verse 15 says, “Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (for as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus). Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.” If one quit reading Acts at that point, it could be argued that the Holy Spirit was given by these men. But the story does not begin nor end there, and well it doesn’t because if it did, many would believe that it is man, not YHVH that can impart the Holy Ghost.

In context of the totality of Acts 8, there was a certain sorcerer named Simon who was known for having “the great power of God.” Simon heard Philip preach the word, believed and was baptized. Acts 8:13 says Simon “continued with Phillip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.” Verses 18-19 say, “When Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.” Peter strongly rebuked Simon, saying his heart was not right with YHVH; that the gift of YHVH cannot be purchased with money; and called him to repent.

Act 8 in its entirety addresses that man can neither impart nor activate the gifts of YHVH apart from YHVH. Man is not the equal of YHVH, just in obedience a willing vessel. As is written in Daniel 4:17 describing the authority of YHVH over men, “to the intent that the living may know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men...”  Man is not the keeper of YHVH’s will. Be aware that those calling themselves Christians who are practicing impartations and activations are dealing with spirits, as once did Simon the sorcerer, but they may well not be the Holy Spirit.

Staying focused in the trying times ahead
March 2013
The US Supreme Court is making a mockery out of marriage. Irrespective of its decision, just the questions being asked and the answers being given are ridiculous. The term “marriage” has a definition that is been the same since the earliest recordings of civilization and YHVH God creating man and woman and giving the laws to His people. Any change in definition is changing the word and its meaning. The European Union is confiscating money from personal bank accounts to pay debt. That same practice may make its way to America. The federal government through the Federal Reserve is propping up the stock market with $85 Billion a month. What will happen when that stops?

The Department of Homeland Security is buying bullets and armored vehicles for local deployment. When the Fed stops propping up the market, the economy will likely collapse. Inflation will be high, jobs will be few, food will be costly and scarce, hungry people will be angry.  Stripping the American citizen of the institution of marriage creates a deep psychological conflict as marriage is the basis of society. Creating massive insurmountable debt and expecting hard working Americans to pay up through taxes or outright confiscation, leaves the citizenry without means. Banning weapons and putting foreboding, well-armed vehicles in the streets makes the citizenry seemingly defenseless.

All the government actions of late point to a huge shift ahead for America. Our lives could be forever changed because we seem unable or unwilling to stand up and fight this leviathan. So many ask what to do. At some point if this keeps going on, you will be forced to decide what to do. But the longer it takes to resist this juggernaut of a takeover of America and a destruction of our Republic, the more suffering on the horizon. How do we as Christians handle this? People will be looking for answers. They will need hope. Aside from being a good citizen of the original American Revolution, you must be above all a good citizen of the Kingdom of God. We must convey the gift of hope and salvation.

2 Corinthians 4:8-11 says, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” Verse 6 says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” I also love 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” May we be such.
Have A Blessed And Powerful Day,
Bill Wilson

ALL BY DESIGN!
The ominous history around April 19-20
April 20, 2013
- Bill Koenig
There has been one serious news story after another in the past few days. First, it was John Kerry push for Israeli-Palestinian talks, then the North Korean nuclear threat.
Then a collapse of gold value, the Boston Marathon bombings and heightened security in Washington, DC.
There was a major explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas, and a heated gun debate on Capitol Hill

President George W. Bush was working with Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia on a plan for a future Palestinian state 17 days prior to the 9-11-2001 terror events.
This current period of disruption in the United States seems very similar to that time period.
Extensive list of major events that have happened on or around April 19-20:
World wars, American wars, Israeli wars, births of Hitler and Mohammed, and many others
