Kurds enter Kirkuk Oil
Mar 2, 2017  Kurdistan
-  Kurds entered North Oil Company (NOC) in Kirkuk to show Baghdad that Kirkuk’s oil is for the people of Kurdistan (PUK).  Kurds deployed troops to prevent Baghdad from exporting Kirkuk’s oil to Mosul and Baghdad. Baghdad wants to export Kirkuk’s oil.  The force has controlled a pump station where extracted oil is stored from the oilfields, and its main purpose of the station is to export it to the Ceyhan port through a pipeline.

Russia denies attacking US-forces
Mar 2, 2017  Kurdistan
-  Russia denied the US accusation that Russian or Syrian fighter jets bombed US backed-Syrian Arab Coalition near al-Bab, in northern Syria.  The US provided exact coordinates of the US-backed opposition forces in the region to a Russian officer.
No air strike on the regions specified by the US was conducted by Russian or Syrian air forces.

The US commander claimed that  Russian and Syrian fighter jets carried out airstrikes against the US-backed Syrian fighters by mistake.  US advisers were within 5 kilometers from the site of the bombings.

There are Turkey FSA in the area who captured al-Bab last week.  The SDF control the city of Manbij, northeast of al-Bab.  Turkey and FSA are attacking Kurds.  USA cant stop Turkey.  Evil Turkey intends to occupy Syria and they may have done the bombing.

Rojava Peshmerga
Mar 2, 2017  Rudaw
-  Tense wait between Rojava Peshmerga and Yazidi forces.
500 Rojavan Peshmerga Kurds deployed to the Rojava, Kurdistan border to defend South Kurdistan.
The Roj-Pesh Kurds were sent to force the YBS - Sinjar Resistance - out.  Kurd KRG President Massoud Barzani visited Ankara to discuss the entrance of Roj-Pesh forces to Syria.
This article is complex and suspicious and I dont trust it.  Everything in the mideast is hyper complex.

US Military defends Manbij - from Turkey
Mar 3, 2017
-  Syrian Democratic Forces said the USA is defending Manbij Syria from the Turks.
U.S. set up a military basein Manbij and hung up its flag as a warning sign to Ankara.
Manbij is 30 kilometers west of the Euphrates.

Freep post
new USA equipment is being delivered to YPG Manbij. I saw the US flag displayed on the some of the vehicles in column of new equipment.
Someone is trying to deter the Turk/FSA attacks past Al-Bab into YPG territory toward Manbij, by indicating that they have new US equipment. And therefore, USA supports YPG activity in their area.
However, Turk/FSA is attacking heavily anyway, out of line with all agreements and indirectly Turk/FSA is attacking USA allies, the YPG.
The Russian/Turk/Syrian agreement should limit the Turk advance.

Very Happy  Kurds return home

Erdogan only wants to kill Kurds
Mar 4, 2017
-  Turkey behind attack on Yazidi.  Yazidi civilians have taken up arms in Shingal west of Mosul after clashes with Peshmerga and Yazidi forces.  Turkey was not invited by the US or Iraq to take part in the liberation of Mosul and Raqqa.  Defeating ISIS does not serve Turkish interests.  Turkey was sidelined by the USA and Russia.

Kobani appears to be a town in Rojava Province.
DO NOT trust media reports!  This is so complicated even I dont understand it!  It appears Putin is finally seeing he cant trust Erdogan, which is good - if true.

The only hope I see is for America to war on Turkey and take Erdogan out.  Erdo will NOT bend, he is pure Evil.  Erdo set up that phony coup himself to arrest / kill all opposition.

Welcome to Raqqa -

Putin, Syria, Iran etc
Mar 6, 2017
-  I dont believe this debka report, but I am putting the link up here but typing my own report!  President Trump has always said he ACTS FIRST - then reports success later.  I DO NOT believe he is uninvolved!  I heard a news report March 5 that the battle for Mosul Iraq Kurdistan is being won but will take weeks - and we are planning to take Raqqa, Syria which is ISIS HQ - and U.S. military will head it up.

March 1, Turkey President Erdogan threatened to order his army to seize Manjib. True.  Most Syrian army’s units are Iran-Hellzballah.  Maybe, maybe not.

USA in Manbij
Mar 7, 2017
-  The Pentagon deployed a US armored convoy around Manbij in northern Syria to block Russians.  This is a deliberate action taken to assure that forces within the US-led coalition deterred aggression and kept the focus on defeating ISIS.  Did you get the message, Turkey?

The US armored force landed in the middle of a complicated crisis around Manjib.  A few days ago, the Kurd YPG handed over some of the villages and military positions around the town to Russian and Syrian army units.

But now, as Russian units geared up to enter Manjib, the Trump administration warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that if they did move in, they would face American forces.  The Trump administration has thus taken its first direct military action in Syria to cut off the expansion of Russian forces in the North.  Russian units assigned to Manjib consist mainly of Chechen commandos.

Pentagon plan to seize Raqqa
Mar 7, 2017
-  A Pentagon plan for assault on ISIS-Raqqa calls for significant U.S. military participation.
President Donald Trump campaigned on killing ISIS.  He is keeping his promises.  The U.S. Raqqa plan would shut the door on Turkey's demands that Syrian Kurds be denied U.S. equipment and kept out of the upcoming offensive. Turk President Erdogan has vowed to move his own troops and toward Raqqa.

ISIS controlling swaths of land and money is infinitely more dangerous than Assad ever was.
Al Sisi taking the reigns in Egypt from Morsi was a great thing.
The less fanatical the ruler, the safer it is for the world and us.

Syria is NOT Afghanistan.
ISIS was Obama’s Frankenstein monster. Trump has promised to exterminate them.
Trump undoing the damage 0bama did so America doesnt leave a bad taste in the mouth in Syria.

Raqqa operation take no prisoners plan. (kill em all)
The Kurd-led SDF will be the assault force.

75th Rangers hit the ground in Syria
Mar 7, 2017
-  The 75th Ranger Regiment in Syria for the war against ISIS as the coalition closes in on Raqqa.  Everyone wants to exterminate ISIS in Raqqa and the rest of Syria.  The Kurds held Manbij and Kobane, key crossing points and blocking hubs.

It appears that the Kurds have pulled out of Manbij with the understanding that we will occupy it. Looking at the Manbij location, we now control all offensive movements towards Raqqa.  The Turks will likely move in from the north, the Kurds from the NE, once Mosul is occupied.

It looks like our theater now.
Rangers lead the way! (God speed, men!)
Prayers for our troops
.
Why is this being announced?  Good question

Syria is big - we have been in syria for YEARS, not new
- the new is - now we are there to WIN

We have had a large deployment of special operations forces for years.
This is the first deployment of flagged field units in Syria.
I believe that Raqqa is the target, this is a blocking move.

US Expanding Kobani Airport Runway
Mar 7, 2017  ERBIL, IRAQ  breaking now
-  There are only 3 attack points to Raqqa: Manbij, Kobani and one other that we shouldnt talk about yet. We now control two of them.  US military began expanding the Kobani Airport runway, south of the city, in order to be able to receive the bigger aircraft.  The Kurd YPG fighters have been discharged from the mission of protecting the airport.

The US is installing high-frequency radar systems on the hills around the airport aiming at protecting the airport from any possible air attacks.  The US troops currently possess 2 military bases in the Kurdish areas of Kobani and Rmelan in northern Syria for logistical purposes in support of the SDF.

Turkey, Kurds
Mar 8, 2017  Al Monitor
-  BEWARE of TURKS BEING NICE!  Turkey has recently begun receiving Kurd leaders from Iraqi Kurdistan.  Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Massoud Barzani is received as a reputable state leader and the Kurdistan flag is hoisted next to the Turkish flag.  Turkey relations with Barzani are based on economic interests such as oil and Turkey’s design to use Kurds against Kurds.

Barzani is balancing Rojava’s PYD and YPG with KNC and the peshmerga of Rojava.  In Iraq, Turkey expects Barzani to oust the PKK from Sinjar.  Syrian Kurds organized KDP under the name of Roj peshmergas were sent March 2 to Sinjar. The Yazidis did not allow them to enter.

Freeper comments -
This is a fairly accurate assessment of the conflict on Sinjar (Shingal) mountain between the Yazidi YBS milita and the Roj Pershmega.  Turkey is meddling in Iraq (Kurdistan) and has pitted 2 groups of Kurds against each other. Turkey is the reason this is so messed up.  Erdogan partnered with Obama and Hillary to put weapons in the hands of those who wanted to overthrow Assad and became ISIS-al Qaeda.
This is one of the best links I've seen on this subject.

Yazidis are NOT christian. They practice an odd form of witchcraft, but the Kurds claim them as their people.

Iraqi forces capture Mosul government complex
March 7, 2017 dekba
Iraqi government forces captured the government complex in western Mosul, including several institutions and the central bank. But towards afternoon, after raising the national flag, they pulled back under heavy ISIS counter-attack.  This is the pattern of Iraq army.  ISIS snipers and suicide bombers still hold sway in broad stretches of Mosul. Iraqi troops are afraid.

USA, Russia, Turk Syria summit
Mar 8, 2017
-  United States, Russia and Turkey military leaders are meeting in Antalya.
All 3 armies are converging on Manbij, Syria.  They plan a combined trilateral offensive to drive ISIS out of Raqqa and hopefully Iraq.

They discuss dividing Syria into sectors to be ruled by USA and Russian forces.  If theses 3 generals succeed in working together, Trump will have achieved his oft-repeated target of teaming up with Moscow to eradicate ISIS.  Russia and America may come together to fight a common enemy.

US Rangers in Syria with Striker tanks
Mar 9, 2017
-  Rangers flew in from Fort Lewis air base, Washington to spearhead the Raqqa attack.  The offensive to capture Raqqa from ISIS plan was put before the generals of the USA, Russia and Turkey.  More tanks at the Syrian base overland from Iraqi Kurdistan.

President Donald Trump had Defense Secretary James 'Mad Dog' Mattis and McMaster advise him that the US army would go it alone in the Raqqa offensive together with 45,000 fighters of the Kurd SDF.  (SDF, Syrian Defense Force - Arab militias, Kurd YPJ & YPG)
