Hell's Bells 2: The Power and Spirit of Popular Music

Hell's Bells 2: The Power and Spirit of Popular Music 40parts.

Over three years in the making, this much-anticipated sequel to the original Hell's Bells series weaves together science, satire, testimonies, parables, interviews, expansive research, and a vibrant Christian perspective to create a video series that is as fascinating as it is educational and evangelistic. Far more than just a commentary on the dangers of popular music, this eight-part, six-hour, up-to-the-minute documentary uncovers the "war of the worldviews" - the epic struggle between good and evil, sin and redemption for the souls of men and the destiny of our culture.

Great not only for evangelizing the lost and challenging Christians to greater holiness and service, it also serves as an outstanding primer on worldviews. Among other things, it features a fascinating history of the occult revivals that took place in the late 19th century (and that would later have such a profound impact in the 60s), an analysis of "chaos versus creation", nihilism, what it means to be truly "satanic" and much, much more.  Using music as a diagnostic tool, Hell's Bells 2 - The Power and Spirit of Popular Music examines the modern world, dusting it for the fingerprints of the men and ideas that have sought to dethrone God and set man up in His place.  Ideal for Bible study, family discussion, discipling young people (and older folks, too!), Sunday school class and cell groups, this is one video series that is guaranteed to provoke discussion, reflection, and, by God's grace, changed lives.

This six-hour documentary series is broken into eight parts:

Part 1: Introduction - Foundations for Cultural Analysis; 19 minutes
Part 2: Sound & Fury - An Examination of the Power of Music; 50 minutes
Part 3: Heartbeats - Music's Spiritual Connection; 30 minutes
Part 4: Notes from the Underground - The Occult History of Rock; 70 minutes
Part 5: Hearts of Darkness - Rebellion, Nihilism and Death; 48 minutes
Part 6: Mojo Rising - Satanic Sex and Rock 'n' Roll; 60 minutes
Part 7: Antichrist Superstars - Rock's Ultimate Rebellion; 43 minutes
Part 8: Knockin' on Heaven's Door; 48 minutes

Rock music even when called 'christian' is still demonic.
Its the beat that calls the demons to the person.
Demons dont care what the words are, they ride the beat.

I agree with you about the beat of the music being satanic but there is more to it than that. I used to teach different Christian youth groups about influence of different types of music back in the 1980's. The demonic (beat and words) part of the music hasn't changed much since then other than getting more wide spread and intensifying.

It is true that the demons don't care about what the words are to them but they do care what those words are as an influence to the hearer. Those words do condition the human mind and spirit. The repetition of those words makes the human spirit apostate when they go into your mind hours and hours to the point you resist the true words of the Lord.

The younger generations will resist you on the most part until you break the hold on them by prayer and the Holy Spirit. Lucifer before the fall being in charge of the worship music knows how to reach the depths of the spirit.

This is a great battle to come against since Satan's music has interwoven into every part of society, movies, TV, video games, Internet downloads, smart phones and everybody is plugged in and not connected to the world around them

I pray that everyone will take this subject seriously.

I agree with you about the satanic beats in certain 'christian rock/metal' and I pointed that out to different youth groups. The Holy Spirit will witness to your spirit what is good and what is bad. Some Praise and Worship is anointed and you have discern which is good.

Even your physical body will feel the effects of the beat of the music going against your heart beat. Have you notice how you feel when the boom boxes in the cars will make you sick to your stomach. Like you said, a Christian title don't make it right.

In the non-Christian music, words do make a difference that it will develop an evil way of thinking when repeated over a long period of time.

I have been feeling under the weather for a long time and haven't felt like writing as much as I wanted to but I been following the forum daily and been with you all in spirit and in my prayers. Thank you for being there with your website and forum.

I watched 1/2 of - it's very, very good, the guy who made it did a thorough job.

However, will WARN that alot of the things in this can be VERY hard to stomach when watching it. If anything, I recommend just merely listening to it without looking at the youtube screen. This is how incredibly disgusting the rock music industry has become.

BTW - whatever happened to singing hymns to the Lord? When David did just that(well, playing the harp), didn't it sooth Saul's soul for the time being?

This is Christian music online.  Only a few songs I dont like.
Plays continually.
