US ends Iraq war
The 10 years the USA was at war in IRAQ may have left Iraq
WORSE OFF than if we had never gone there.

Roadside bomb in Baghdad two days before US exit
The US 4th Stryker Brigade and 2nd Infantry Division crossed from Iraq into Kuwait Thursday morning, Aug. 19th.
But for Iraq, it is just beginning: At least 2 civil conflicts are boiling - Sunni-Shiite strife and hostilities between them and the Kurds of the North - and Iran's followers stand ready to seize Iraq's oil-rich South potentially sparking yet another world conflagration. REMEMBER, the Kurds helped the U.S.A. and now we leave them to their fate. GOD help them.
The Baghdad government is unsustainable and the cause of a rising spiral of violence.
Tehran is also eyeing rich spoils in Iraq's post-American era.
The networks in Iraq run by the Iranian Intelligence Ministry, the MOIS, and the Revolutionary Guards Al Qods Brigades have joined forces with their Iraqi allies to take over the southern oilfields centering on the city of Basra, which account for about 60 percent of the country's oil output.
Iran also covets the two holiest cities of the world Shiite movement, Karbala and Najaf.
The ayatollahs in Tehran are planning a double coup in Iraq - possession of Iraq's oil riches plus command of its two most treasured religious sites.

IMHO - this can only mean that war with Iran is very soon.
August 19, 2010
As their convoy reached the barbed wire at the border crossing out of Iraq on Wednesday, the soldiers whooped and cheered. Then they scrambled out of their stifling hot armored vehicles, unfurled an American flag and posed for group photos.
For these troops of the 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, it was a moment of relief fraught with symbolism. Seven years and five months after the U.S.-led invasion, the last American combat brigade was leaving Iraq, well ahead of President Barack Obama's Aug. 31 deadline for ending U.S. combat operations there.
———
EDITOR'S NOTE: The 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division was officially designated the last combat brigade to leave Iraq under Obama's plan to end combat operations in Iraq by Aug. 31. Associated Press writer Rebecca Santana joined the troops on their final journey out of the country.
When 18-year-old Spc. Luke Dill first rolled into Iraq as part of the U.S. invasion, his Humvee was so vulnerable to bombs that the troops lined its floor with flak jackets.
Now 25 and a staff sergeant after two tours of duty, he rode out of Iraq this week in a Stryker, an eight-wheeled behemoth encrusted with armor and add-ons to ward off grenades and other projectiles.
"It's something I'm going to be proud of for the rest of my life — the fact that I came in on the initial push and now I'm leaving with the last of the combat units," he said.
He remembered three straight days of mortar attacks outside the city of Najaf in 2003, so noisy that after the firing ended, the silence kept him awake at nights. He recalled the night skies over the northern city of Mosul being lit up by tracer bullets from almost every direction.
Now, waiting for him back in Olympia, Wash., is the "Big Boy" Harley-Davidson he purchased from one of the motorcycle company's dealerships at U.S. bases in Iraq — a vivid illustration of how embedded the American presence has become since the invasion of March 20, 2003.

U.S. to Double Civilian Force in Iraq After Withdrawal
August 19, 2010 FoxNews
As the last brigade of U.S. combat troops began to leave Iraq Thursday the Obama administration reportedly planned to double the number of private security guards it has in the country to fill the void.
President Barack Obama had imposed an end-of-the-month deadline for the pullout -- and "The Last Patrol," which included members of the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, crossed the border into Kuwait in the early hours of Thursday local time.
Obama called it a milestone in the war, but the widely-publicized exit of the Stryker soldiers Thursday does not entirely end the fighting mission as there are still 2,600 combat troops left in Iraq.. They are expected to pull out in the next few days.
About 50,000 troops will stay in Iraq until the end of next year to train Iraqi forces and after August 31 the mission in Iraq will no longer be known as Operation Iraqi Freedom and will instead be known as Operation New Dawn.
When the last of the military troops leave at the end of 2011, the Obama administration is planning to more than double the number of private security guards it has in Iraq -- up to 7,000 -- The New York Times reported late Wednesday, citing unnamed administration officials.

Iraq: Past, Present, and Future
We understand from the book of Daniel that the Angels of the Lord are battling principalities and powers in the air, who have human representation on the earth that they presently control. Gabriel informed Daniel in chapter 9 that he had just fought the prince of Persia, and will return to help fight the prince of Grecia. It is my opinion that these spiritual controlling principalities and powers are frequently described as "Beasts". The human ruler on the earth is referred to as a "horn." Rulers and national boundaries are constantly changing, and likewise the controlling spiritual principality may control many different lands and people throughout the ages.
Almost all scholars interpret Daniel chapter 8 as having occurred in the past and referring to Alexander the Great. Now Alexander did basically follow the same pattern that is described in the eighth chapter of Daniel, but he could never qualify as the actual fulfillment. This prophecy mentions that the Army's would attack Babylon, coming from the West and "not touching the ground." Alexander's forces came on the ground where the Western forces of George W. Bush came from the West by the sea and air. And more importantly, Gabriel states repeatedly that the appointed time of this vision is, "at the time of the end." Seeing that Alexander lived prior to the first coming of our Lord, his conquest of Babylon could never be considered, "at the time of the end."
Dan 8:16 And I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this [man] to understand the vision.
Dan 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.
Dan 8:18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
Dan 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end [shall be].
Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns [are] the kings of Media and Persia.
Persia of course, is modern-day Iran and predominantly Shia Muslim. The area of ancient Media, is basically the modern region where the Kurds have settled. Iraq/ancient Babylon, today is also occupied by Arabs who are predominantly Sunni Muslim. I see the "ram" of Daniel chapter 8 representing the modern day Beast known as Islam, with its two horns being Shia and Sunni.
Dan 8:21 And the rough goat [is] the king of Grecia: and the great horn that [is] between his eyes [is] the first king.
Greece is the birthplace of the spirit of "democracy." George Bush conquered Iraq/Babylon in the name of "democracy." (Please read the entire chapter of Daniel 8 for more specifics. Bush/goat broke the two horns of the ram.). The result was that George W. Bush became the "King" over ancient Babylon.
Dan 8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
"Democracy" (Grecia) is no longer the controlling spirit/Beast over the Babylonian region. George W. Bush had his "Horn broken" by term limits and the election of an usurper who presently is in the process of abandoning the region. We still have air bases in Babylon and floating bases in the near sea. But the usurper bows to the other horns of the "ram" and is controlled by the spirit of Marxist fascism. The four horns in Babylon at this time are the United States, Kurds, Sunni and Shia Muslims.
And in a very short while, the usurper will be usurped, leaving only three horns in modern-day Babylon. The power of the United States will be neutralized.
Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
I believe that this "little horn," will be Islams Madhi, who will pluck up the remaining three horns in Babylon and will become the one who has been referred to as the "antichrist."
I have thot these 2 verses applied to Barak Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetero
In the latter period of their rule, When the transgressors have run their course, A king will arise, Insolent and skilled in intrigue.
Daniel 8:23
In his place a despicable (vile, contemptible) person will arise, on whom the honor of kingship has not been conferred, (USURPER)
but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.
Daniel 11:21
