THE FULFILLMENT OF THE END OF THE WORLD/END OF THE AGE SIGNS OF RAPIDLY INCREASING GEOTHERMAL/VOLCANIC AND SEISMIC/EARTHQUAKE ACTIVITY COULD ONLY COME TO PASS IN OUR PRESENT DAY AND AGE- THEY'RE HERE!
As of today,the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland is still erupting and the longer she erupts, the greater the chance that she could trigger Katla, her angry sister. 'Pall Einarsson, professor of geophysics at the Institute of Earth Sciences at the University of Iceland, said one volcanic eruption sometimes causes a nearby volcano to explode, and Katla and Eyjafjallajokull have been active in tandem in the past".
Eyjafjallajokull and Katla are 12 miles apart, side by side, in southern Iceland and are thought to be connected by a network of magma channels. According to my understanding, the intense heat of Eyjafjallajokull's continuing eruption could probably melt the ice cap over Karla as well as heating the magma in the network of chambers thus decreasing the viscosity of and facillitating the magma flow through the chambers, precipitating the blast of Katla.
If Katla blows, the entire world may feel like they are experiencing an "end of the world" cataclysmic event!
It is imperative to understand the definition of the word "divers" as used in the below Scriptures by Jesus, in which He gave us warning signs to watch for so we can know when we are approaching the end of the age . Divers' is the Old English spelling for 'diverse', meaning many and varied places, or a lot of different places.
Matthew 24:7 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."
Mark 13:8 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Luke 21:11"And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven."
Please note that earthquake/seismic and volcanic/geothermal activity go hand in hand as they are interrelated. When Jesus told us to watch for earthquakes, they correlate with volcanic activity and so both are the fulfillment of the forewarning by Jesus in the Gospels to watch for "earthquakes in divers places".
His command to watch for these "earth shaking"events in "divers places" was indicative that our modern high tech society is the only period in history that could see this fulfillment. After recently sharing the many signs of the end times with a store clerk at a local Target store, she responded that she was totally unaware of the recent spate of major earthquakes.
It is astonishing that even today,with round the clocks news coverage, that many are so uninterested or uninvolved in following world events that they are completely oblivious to all the current world events signifying how unstable our deteriorating world is becoming with each passing day.
Before the availability of multitudinous communication devices, it was IMPOSSIBLE to see this sign of "earthquakes in DIVERS places" that Jesus forewarned us to watch for regarding the end of the age. Communication of any major seismic events was bound by whatever cities/places were in either walking or camel distance for those who might relay said news.
Our modern technological age provides us with 24/7 news media coverage traveling the world wide web as well as via televisions and radio. With the advent of telephones, cell phones and now all the vast array of high tech devices there is the ability to have instant communication of breaking news worldwide.
Prior to the development of all the electronic gadgets in the past century, there was no way to gauge let alone communicate the earthquakes in DIVERS places. Before the explosion of technological advances, knowledge of any such cataclysmic occurrences was restricted only to the local and/or adjacent areas to the actual event.
As such, this warning to watch for "earthquakes in DIVERS places" given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ, can only pertain to our modern day society as only today, do we have the technological capacity to widely broadcast the worldwide increase of seismic/geothermal activity that with each passing day seems to be ever increasing with major earthquakes ranging from 5.0 and greater becoming the norm.
Jesus commanded us to watch for all these signs that we are now witnessing and He told us that they are the beginning of birth pains which indicates that these once they begin, the signs will increase not only in frequency, but also intensity as do the labor pains of a woman about to give birth.
Many secular scientists are totally baffled by this abnormal increase in earthquake and volcanic related activity. Please see the below linked video from April 6, 2010 on CNN.com wherein both commentators reiterated a total of 4 times that these successive earthquakes/volcanoes can't be "coincidence". Notice that twice they both quizzically mentioned that's "something's going on."
The meteorologist concluded the end of the video advising "everybody who lives near a fault line make sure that you have your earthquake procedures down to it"...."its time to go over your earthquake procedures". This translates into "We have no earthly idea as to what in the world is going on, on our planet so, it's "everyman for himself"!"
As we can therefore see, even the liberal mainly agnostic/atheistic media is noticing that something abnormal is going on and they are totally bewildered!
This randomness of seismic activity is absolute confirmation of Jesus' warning for us to on watch for "earthquakes in divers places". This proof is verfied by the science of plate tectonics. Seismologists know that with plate tectonics the release of stress on one part of a plate can trigger seismic activity along the same plate as the plate shifts, resulting in earthquakes.
Please note the perplexity in the voice of the meteorologist is evident as he emphasizes that these seismic events "are NOT directly related".
The fact that there is NO DIRECT RELATION to all this activity is confirmation that these "earthquakes in divers places" are just as Jesus prophesied would happen. Seismologists know that with plate tectonics one release of stress on a plate can trigger seismic activity elsewhere on the same plate.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE as the increasing quakes are in DIVERS PLACES and this is why the secular world is so BAFFLED! All of this current activity is happening in divers (different) places and therefore they are not related. That is why the meteorologist is so confounded because the quakes are not happening as in the cause and effect relation of plate tectonics as has ALWAYS BEEN THE CASE!
These "earthquakes in divers places"are happening contrary to the laws behind the science of plate tectonics. This is how God is supernaturally manifesting Himself to mankind by these "earthquakes in divers places" that Jesus commanded us to be alert for!
That is why as a professional he comments that that it is "not coincidental that these are all coming together at one point at one time" as well as " there is something going on here." Plainspeak-"These earthquakes are surreally occurring and we are starting to get really nervous as to why"!
How much more alarmed will these people, who probably do not know God's Word , become with each and every day of strengthening geothermal/seismic activity?
As they witness the "groaning" of our earth continuing so will their anxiety continue and heighten by each subsequent shaking of our earth! We, that are Christians, need to be a light unto these people who are virtually clueless as to what is truly going on all around them. We need to warn them of where we are on God's prophetic timeline and share the Gospel of the soon coming King with them!
It is much more terrifying to be totally unaware of and unprepared for a traumatic event. Therefore, Christians, knowing the Word of God, need to be sounding the alarm and announcing that this was exactly foretold thousands of years ago in the pages of the Bible so that all can come to repentance and salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ!
Indonesia''s most volatile volcano erupted Tuesday after scientists warned that pressure building beneath its dome could trigger the most powerful explosion in years. At least 18 people were killed, including a two-month-old baby, according to doctors and media reports.
Smoke poured out of Mount Merapi, obscuring its cone, according to footage from the private station, Metro TV. Police and volunteers were shown carrying ash-covered corpses, some wrapped in blankets and yellow body bags, to waiting vehicles.
Thousands of villagers started streaming off the 9,737-foot- (2,968-meter-) high mountain as darkness fell Tuesday, crowding into makeshift emergency shelters with straw sleeping mats and bags of clothes and food.
Earlier, many had refused to budge, saying they wanted to tend to crops along volcano''s fertile slopes and protect their homes against looters.
While there are fears the current activity could foreshadow a much more destructive explosion in the coming weeks or months, Gede Swantika, a government vulcanologist, said the mountain appeared to be releasing some pressure building up beneath the lava dome.
"It''s too early to know for sure," he said, adding a big blast could still be coming. "But if it continues like this for a while, we are looking at a slow, long eruption."
As they contended with the volcano, Indonesian officials were also trying to assess the impact of Monday''s 7.7-magnitude earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, about 800 miles (1,300 kilometers) from Merapi. The temblor caused a tsunami that left hundreds dead or missing on a string of remote islands.

The Centre of Vulcanology and Mitigation of Geology Disaster, a sub-department of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, on Friday announced that the status of
8 volcanoes has been raised to level II or “caution level”, indicating increasing activity of these volcanoes.
The eight volcanoes are:
(1) Mount Sinabung, in Karo, North Sumatera;
(2) Mount Talang, Solok, West Sumatera;
(3) Mount Anak Krakatau, Lampung (Child of Krakatau Volcano);
(4) Mount Papandayan, Garut, West Java;
(5) Mount Slamet, Tegal, Central Java;
(6) Mount Dieng, Wonosobo, Central Java;
(7) Mount Semeru, Lumajang, East Java; and
( Mount Bromo, Probolinggo, East Java, detik.com reported on Friday.
Level I is “Normal” status, means that there is no magma pressured from beneath the mount. Action recommended is routine observation, survey and study.
When a volcano status is raised to Level II status or “Caution”, there is increasing activity above normal level and that there has been seismic activity.
Under this situation, actions need to be undertaken include public campaign over the impact on the society if the volcano erupts, checking the availability of public facilities and monitoring activity.
Level II or alert status means there is an increasing activity such as anomalies that can be seen visually or crater inspection results, quakes, and other volcanic phenomena.
The third level or Level III is an “Alert” (yellow) status.
Under this period, a volcano shows indications to erupt, seismic activity intensifies and that seismic data shows that seismic activity of the mount will continue to eruption level that could cause disaster. Actions need to be taken during this period is public campaign about areas that might be affected by the volcanic eruption. In addition, transportation facilities and emergency facilities have to be prepared. Coordination is now done on daily basis. The volcano now has to be fully monitored for 24 hours a day.
The fourth level or Level IV is a “”Danger” or “Red” status.
During this period, the volcano shows indication that will soon erupt. The public is informed that the mount is in critical condition that would lead to disaster. Initial eruption begins to happen as seen by smokes coming out from the top of the mount. Usually, it follows with main eruption.
When a volcano’s status is raised to “Danger” status, the possible affected area MUST be vacated. Coordination for evacuation is now intensified that monitoring on the volcano is intensified.
The status of Mount Merapi was raised to “Danger” status two days before it erupted. In reality, villagers were still living in the danger zone area although they have been told to leave. They only rushed to refugee camps only minutes before the Mt Merapi spewed hot ashes. Most people managed to run away, while some were trapped as they have no time to run away.
The Level II status of Child of Krakatau volcano has been set since October 31, 2009. In the last four days, its eruption has reached 100 times. “In 2009, the status has been put in level II, but then its eruption had decreased. On October 10, 2010, the smokes start to spew again,” the Head Volcano Observation for Western Indonesia Hendrasto told detik.com.
“On October 17, there are about 45 eruptions recorded at the little Krakatau. Some days later, the eruptions disappeared.

Hurricanes and other storms are powerful agents of change of the Earth’s surface. In mere hours, storms can erode material from one area and deposit it somewhere else. In some cases, this sudden movement of sediment can completely transform a landscape. But can atmospheric forces trigger movements within the crust?
Earth scientist Shimon Wdowinski and his colleagues at the University of Miami presented an idea at the American Geophysical Union meeting last month linking the devastating Haiti earthquake in January 2010 to strong tropical storm systems that struck the region in 2008*.
The hypothesis put forth by Wdowinski and colleagues is that the mass of sediment removed from Haiti’s uplands (and deposited in adjacent lowlands) influenced the stresses on the Léogâne Fault zone enough to cause it to rupture, resulting in the devastating Jan. 12, 2010 earthquake. The cause of such rapid erosion, according to the abstract, was the combined effects of two hurricanes and two tropical storms in 2008 on a severely deforested landscape.
The authors combine observations and calculations of the changing landscape from satellite imagery over the past 35 years with modeling of the stresses on the fault zone. In this post, I’ll explore this intriguing idea by breaking down the various aspects one by one.

Deforestation, Erosion and Deposition
Barren hillsides are more prone to erosion compared to forested hillsides because of the ability of the root networks to stabilize the soil. This relationship is well documented and, unfortunately, an environmental nightmare for poor countries in the tropics. The erosion of deforested hillsides leads to life-threatening mudslides, harms agriculture and fisheries, and affects natural habitats.
How do landscapes become deforested? Fire is one way to quickly strip a landscape of this stabilizing vegetation. This is a serious hazard in southern California when winter storms dump massive amounts of rain on wildfire-scorched mountainsides triggering sudden and often catastrophic erosional events. Wildfires, whether caused by natural events like lightning strikes or by inconsiderate smokers tossing their still-lit cigarette butts out car windows, can be extensive and destructive.

During the past several weeks, many volcanoes have been active around the world. While we focus on our home volcano, it can be very interesting to check in with these other eruptions via the internet. The volcanoes getting the most attention now are El Hierro in the Canary Islands northwest of mainland Africa, Mount Etna on the Italian Island of Sicily, and Nyamuragira volcano in the Congo. The Canary Islands, like Hawai`i, are the tips of a chain of volcanoes on the Atlantic ocean floor west of the African country of Morocco. Like the Hawaiian Islands, they are thought to be produced by a mantle hotspot.
El Hierro, the volcano associated with the southwestern-most island, has recently erupted through a series of submarine vents offshore of the southernmost town of La Restinga. Toward the end of September, Spanish authorities evacuated that end of the island. So far, the eruption has produced discolored sea water that can be seen from space via satellite, some floating and steaming rocks, gases, and thousands of earthquakes – the largest being a magnitude-4.3 in early November. Activity has waxed and waned and it is currently quiet.
The El Hierro eruption is being monitoring by the Instituto Geografico Nacional ( http://www.01.ign.es/ign/layout/volcaVolcanologia.do ) and their results are reported in Spanish. If you don’t read Spanish, you can use the Google Chrome internet browser which will do a very credible job of translation.
