U.N. agency warns of possible bird flu resurgence
Sept. 2011
The United Nations warned of a possible major resurgence of bird flu and said a mutant strain of the H5N1 virus was spreading in Asia and elsewhere.
The UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on Monday urged increased surveillance and preparation for a potential outbreak of the virus, which it says has infected 565 people since it first appeared in 2003, killing 331 of them.

The virus was eliminated from most of the 63 countries infected at its peak in 2006 after mass poultry culling, but since 2008 it has been expanding geographically in both poultry and wild birds, partly due to migration patterns, the FAO said.
"The general departure from the progressive decline observed in 2004-2008 could mean that there will be a flare-up of H5N1 this fall and winter," the FAO's chief veterinary officer, Juan Lubroth, said in a statement.

He said the appearance of a variant strain of the virus in China and Vietnam was a concern, because it appeared to be able to sidestep the defenses of existing vaccines.
The circulation of the virus in Vietnam also poses a direct threat to Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia as well as endangering the Korean peninsula and Japan, FAO said.

The latest human death occurred earlier this month in Cambodia, which has registered eight cases of human infection this year, all of them fatal, the agency added.
Countries that could face the biggest problems are Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Indonesia and Vietnam, where the FAO said the virus is still firmly entrenched.

It said recently affected areas included Israel, the Palestinian Territories, Bulgaria, Romania, Nepal and Mongolia.
"Wild birds may introduce the virus, but people's actions in poultry production and marketing spread it," said Lubroth.
"Preparedness and surveillance remain essential - no one can let their guard down with H5N1," he added.

Virus Raises Pandemic Fear Virologists warned there was no vaccine against a mutant strain of H5N1 bird flu now spreading in China and Vietnam and called for closer monitoring of the disease in poultry and wild birds to stop it spreading to people.
The call came after the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) warned on Monday of a possible resurgence of bird flu and said a mutant strain of the H5N1 was spreading in Asia and beyond.

While scientists are uncertain if this new strain - called H5N1- - is more virulent in people, they said it was different enough from its predecessor to escape a human H5N1 vaccine that can tackle the parent strain.
"There is a human H5N1 vaccine candidate that is a (WHO)recommended vaccine. But it doesn't confer full protection against the (new variant)," said leading virologist Malik Peiris at the University of Hong Kong.
"But that is not unusual. H5 viruses keep changing and we have to change the vaccine strain."

Chinese man dies of highly virulent strain of H5N1 flu
December 31, 2011
Man in China in critical condition with H5N1 infection – no known contacts with fowl.
This story wouldn’t be quite so strange were it not for the fact that it not only comes on the heels of our previous post but it also has a bizarre conjuction with two rather odd newspaper clippings from the movie, The 12 Monkeys. The first movie newspaper clipping shows the date of December 31 (today) – the second clipping says  “Millions fear End soon” which coincidently appears to contrast the time of now right before the year 0f 2012 in which millions do fear the end is soon. -The Extinction Protocol.

Today’s CNN article: A 39-year-old man in a southern Chinese hospital is suffering from what appears to be a contagious strain of avian flu, state media reported Friday. The man — identified by Xinhua as a bus driver with the surname Chen — was hospitalized in Shenzhen on December 21 as he battled a fever. He tested positive for the H5N1 avian influenza virus, a provincial health department said Friday, according to the official news agency. Chen was in critical condition Friday at the hospital, the health department said. The man had not traveled out of the city of Shenzhen, nor did he have direct contact with poultry in the month before he came down with the fever, according to the department. Shenzhen borders Hong Kong, where more than 17,000 chickens were ordered culled on the same day that Chen was hospitalized. That decision came after a chicken carcass tested positive for avian flu. The territory’s director of Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation declared the Cheung Sha Wan Temporary Wholesale Poultry Market an infected place, the government said then in a statement. Farmers were told they could not send chickens to the market for 21 days. The Hong Kong government said it was working to trace the origin of the chicken, which was infected with the H5N1 avian influenza virus. But, as of December 21, authorities did not know the source. As of December 15, the World Health Organization calculated that 573 people had been infected — and 336 had died — after coming down with the H5N1 avian influenza virus since 2003. Twenty-six of those deaths had been in China, with the largest number of fatalities, 150, occurring in Indonesia. Vietnam and Egypt had more than 50 deaths each. This summer, the United Nations warned of a possible resurgence of the virus — which peaked in 2006, at one point infecting people in 63 countries — saying there are indications a mutant strain may be spreading in Asia. A variant strain of H5N1 — which can apparently bypass the defenses of current vaccines — had appeared as of late August in Vietnam and China, reported the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The group noted that the strain’s movement around Vietnam threatened Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Japan and the Korean peninsula. By then, eight people in Cambodia alone had died this year after becoming infected this year, the agency added. –CNN

WHO "deeply concerned" by mutated birdflu research
The World Health Organization issued a stern warning on Friday to scientists who have engineered a highly pathogenic form of the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus, saying their work carries significant risks and must be tightly controlled.
The United Nations health body said it was "deeply concerned about the potential negative consequences" of work by two leading flu research teams who this month said they had found ways to make H5N1 into a easily transmissable form capable of causing lethal human pandemics.

The work by the teams, one in The Netherlands and one in the United States, has already prompted an unprecedented censorship call from U.S. security advisers who fear that publishing details of the research could give potential attackers the know-how to make a bioterror weapon.
The U.S. National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity has asked two journals that want to publish the work to make only redacted versions of studies available, a request to which the journal editors and many leading scientists object.

A Bird Flu Spreads in Seals. Could Humans Be Next?
July 2012
Last fall, 162 harbor seal pups mysteriously washed up dead on the shores of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Puzzled, scientists conducted autopsies on five of the animals, which suggested that a respiratory infection had killed them. Samples of the seals’ tissue were then analyzed further and a common virus was discovered: a new strain of influenza that appeared to have evolved from H3N8, a bird flu virus first isolated in North American ducks in 2002.
The virus’ potential leap from birds to mammals raises questions about whether it could jump to humans as well. Avian flu viruses have spread to humans before — notably H5N1, the scariest type. But while H5N1 spreads easily among birds, often killing them, it infects humans only rarely, though when it does, it’s highly lethal: since 2003, there have been 607 cases of human H5N1 worldwide, leading to 358 deaths.

In late 2011, an even scarier development: researchers in the U.S. and the Netherlands announced that they’d managed to create mutated strains of deadly H5N1 in their labs that passed easily between mammals, developments that led to fierce debate over the wisdom of publishing the findings (the fear was that the data could be dangerous in a bioterrorist’s hands) and to a moratorium on all further research. (Eventually, a federal advisory board allowed the two scientific teams to publish their findings in Nature and in Science, but the moratorium remains.)

Evil or Very Mad   Biological Agents released into Boston Subway
Aug 28, 2012  Government history of dangerous biological testing on the American public.
The Department of Homeland Security will begin releasing a dead bacteria into the Boston subway tomorrow in an operation it says will test sensors designed to detect biological agents that could be released as part of a terrorist attack.
Little is known about what exactly the bacteria consists of, and the DHS has not been very forthcoming with information, saying only that it is a “non-infectious” material that has been “approved as a food supplement”.

OHIO Woman Dies of Swine Flu  *  LIE!
September 1, 2012  Just cuz a sick person dies doesnt mean flu caused it.
Ohio woman has died.  The woman had medical conditions but the article says that she 'may' have had the flu.
It is not laboratory confirmed but CBS and the CDC are telling the world that she contracted swine flu and died from the swine barns.
Her death is significant.  Swine flu rhetoric has been escalating recently and there will be an announcement next month that animal and human medicine will be merged, medicine in a program known as One Health, by way of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), a contractual agreement. -Celeste

Global Swine Flu Bio-Weapon Released
August 2012  USDA Releases Global Bio-Weapon

Swine Flu is ready to go global.
Many diseases have already been released for secretive biological warfare facilities around the world.
Is there more to the story about the swine flu coming back with a vengeance?

According to the UN Code, swine are considered an “invasive  species.”
Now that RIO+21 (see Rio UN summit) is over they seek to eradicate humans, swine, and other domesticated animal populations from the earth.
An Invasive Species Partnership quietly began eliminating feral swine and then progressed a few years ago eradicating domesticated swine,
even pets, as they partner in the RIO+21 manifesto utilizing an Agenda 21 toolkit.

Michigan and other states are now a blaze with DNR employees hunting down the elusive feral pigs.
Illinois is shutting down the Swine barns at local fairs, because supposedly, despite pre-fair health inspections by veterinarian’s they mysteriously came down with fevers.
In New York the County fair cancels pig races. Supposedly Influenza A (H1N1)  (see Recombinomics) is increasing in “healthy show pigs.“
The CDC is issuing a 31-page lunatic warning despite conflicting scientific opinions on the harm swine flu might cause in humans,
nevertheless, warning that children, elderly, and almost everyone, should avoid the animal barns because you catch the flu or die!
What would warrant such a crazy warning?  A weaponized influenza or the perfect fear mechanism!

What is the history of the Swine Biological Release?

On the other side of the world 2 swine viruses pop up on occasion: Classical Swine Fever and African Swine Fever (ASF).
Before 2000 most instances were the Classical Swine Fever except for outbreaks in Africa.
But after the year 2000 increasing incidents in of African Swine Fever outside of Africa were seen.
During 2007 the areas of interest had an outbreak with the Rosselkhoznadzor [Federal Agency of Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance-Russia’s Health Watch-Dog]
taking preventive measures, but they did not have the desired efficiency, according to a note at ProMedMail.
These two viruses have also been of keen interest to Plum Island Bio-Weapon Laboratories owned and operated by Homeland Security since 2003.
ASF is a virus transmitted by contaminated people or the normal vector routes.

2009  Let me pose this interesting thought to y'all ...
What if the couple who crashed the whitehouse party and shook 0bama's hand (gag) were carriers of this or another plague?

I dont like calling this lab weapon swine flu or  H1N1  -  but thats what people know it by.

H1N1 Mutation
China (the whole world!) must be alert to any mutation or changes in the behavior of the H1N1 virus because the far deadlier
H5N1 virus is endemic in China (other places too).  Both viruses could mix and become a monstrous hybrid both deadly and
contagious.  Hello?  This combo with the 1918 virus has already been created in a biolab and released in several nations.
Foxnews you are soooooooo behind!

Over 1,000 in a week dying of 'Flu'

The global number of swine flu deaths has jumped by more than 1,000 in a week, latest figures from the World Health Organization (WHO) show.
At least 7,826 people are now known to have died following infection with the H1N1 virus since it first emerged in Mexico in April.
Europe saw an 85% increase in the week, with the total number of deaths rising from at least 350 to at least 650.

However, in most cases the virus continues to produce mild symptoms.
Most recover within a week even without medical treatment.
The biggest rise in deaths was recorded in the Americas, where the death toll rose to 5,360 - a rise of 554 cases in one week.

Health authorities in Norway and France have each recorded two fatalities from a mutated strain of H1N1.
China, Japan, Norway, Ukraine and the US have also recorded cases of people being infected with a mutated strain.
French health officials confirmed that two patients infected by a mutation that was also recently detected in Norway had died in two different cities in France.
This mutation affects the lungs.
TAMIFLU useless on one of the patients who died in France.
The WHO is unhelpful.  (cough)

Ukraine Official Numbers from November 26, 2009
414 DEAD
1,751,546 SICK

I am still reading on boards how people are still sick and dying - including whole families.
Besides people in Ukraine do not feel these numbers are anywhere near the truth.

H1N1 Death Cluster In Pennsylvania Raises Concerns
November 24, 2010
 Recombinomics Commentary 14:12
Officials said the patient was a 45-year-old man from Lehigh County, one of two infected people being treated at Lehigh Valley Hospital within the last week.
"Young, otherwise healthy individuals, coming into he hospital with H1N1 pandemic strain and both ended up on a ventilator," said Dr. Luther Rhodes, III, Chief of Infections Diseases for LVHN. "Certainly, it could be a chance occurrence, but it's very unusual early in the season to see not one, but two cases of young, otherwise healthy, individuals get so ill from influenza."

Even though influenza activity was minimal in Pennsylvania during week 46, 3 flu hospitalizations were reported, two of which resulted in death.
The initial comments above describe the first H1N1 death in Pennsylvania this season.  The latter statements are from the Pennsylvania week 46 report, noting that 2 of 3 hospitalized patients died, suggesting both deaths were at Lehigh Valley and with 24 h of each other.

Although the death of 2 of 3 hospitalized patients is at an alarming rate (and likely cluster), the state report fails to even give the serotype or location of the two deaths.  Moreover, the above statements on health of the first fatal case have been dialed back with media statements of “underlying conditions” in the 45M.

More information on the serotype and relationship between the two fatalities would be useful.
The state report signals more lack of transparency on influenza deaths in Pennsylvania, the United States, and the world.

Ten dead as H1N1 flu returns to Britain
December 2010
LONDON — The H1N1 swine flu virus which swept the globe last year has returned to Britain with 10 people dying in the last six weeks, health officials said Saturday.
Britain's Health Protection Agency said the 10 deaths had occurred in adults all under the age of 65, most of whom had underlying health issues.
"Over the last few weeks, we have seen a rise in the number of cases of seasonal flu both H1N1 (2009) and flu B in the community," Professor John Watson, head of the HPA's respiratory diseases department, said in a statement.

  1.      Health highlights

More people are canning or giving other homemade goods this year. But that holiday goodwill can raise the risk of food poisoning — or worse.

        3. Want to look hotter? Hit the sack

"We have also received reports of patients with serious illness requiring hospitalization and outbreaks of flu in schools across the country."

H1N1 flu broke out in March 2009 and quickly spread across the world. The World Health Organization said about 18,450 people died from the virus, including many pregnant women and young people.

WHO declared the pandemic over in August.
Watson told the Independent newspaper Britain appeared to be at the "vanguard" of the latest outbreak with other European countries beginning to see some swine flu cases.

The HPA said it was often the case that a pandemic strain became the most common seasonal strain during the next flu season, so it was not surprising to see the return of H1N1 (2009).
An HPA spokeswoman said there had been an increase in the number of flu cases being reported at doctors' surgeries across Britain but this was to be expected over the winter months.
"In terms of actual numbers of cases of flu, it's nothing unusual," she said.

Egypt's H1N1 Flu Cases Reach 2172
Jan 3, 2011
A resurgent H1N1 flu virus has infected 838 people in Egypt within the last week of 2010, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 2172.
According to Egypt's MENA news agency, Abdel-Rahman Shahin, the spokesman of Health Ministry said on Monday that the latest figures showed that the current rate of swine flu infection was at levels often seen during the winter flu seasons.
He added that the infection rate this year is lower than that of the same period last year, with the total number of confirmed cases since October, 2009 to January, 2010 being 14,846.
H1N1 flu was first discovered in Mexico and the United States in 2009 and quickly spread across the world. In early December last year, Shahin warned of an expected outbreak of the H1N1 virus in the upcoming couple of months.

H1N1 outbreak reported in Saudi Arabia
November 5, 2012
audi health authorities reported Sunday at least eight cases of H1N1 infections at the Al-Amal mental hospital in Riyadh. The infected people were given Tamiflu vaccine while 27 other people, including four nurses, suspected of having the influenza virus were quarantined. Staff of the hospital also took precautionary measures, including wearing masks when dealing with patients, and cancelling an party celebrating the Eid al-Adha Muslim festival. The latest H1N1 outbreak in the kingdom was discovered 18 days ago but was not disclosed to avoid panic among haj pilgrims, according to spokesman of Health Affairs Directorate in Riyadh Saad Al Qahtani. The virus first reached Saudi Arabia in 2009 brought by an infected Filipino nurse working at King Faisal Specialized Hospital. Last month, a Saudi boy vacationing with his family in Hong Kong was diagnosed with the virus but recovered. In September, a 60-year-old Saudi man died from the virus and a 49-year-old Qatari man was infected with it after traveling to the kingdom. The Qatari man has recovered after being treated in a hospital in London. –Gant Daily
