AIRLINE CANCELLATIONS  *  Inside information
January 2011
-  WHY do airlines cancel planes?
A furious flight dispatcher for an airline told Neal Boortz, radio talk host, this information.

WHY did airlines cancel SO MANY planes - BEFORE snow storms hit?
Airline wanted planes to take off!  They could have taken off!  Only the government prevented it, not the weather.
The planes taxied out and were de-iced.  De-icing can sometimes take up to an hour and a half.

Planes line to be de-iced, one behind another.  A plane MUST take off within 30 minutes of deicing.  By Fed govt regulation, the pilot has 3 hours to get plane in air once passengers are aboard, or it must go back to the gate and release the passengers.  Otherwise airline is fined $26,000 PER PASSENGER.

When pilot saw he couldnt get into the air til after 3 hours was up, he taxid back to the gate and unloaded.
Airlines cancel flights before snow storms for this reason.
BLAME GOVT!

MANY have expected Obama to pull a stunt of some kind before Nov 2 elections.
He flees USA Nov 4th - 40 planes will carry his people!
I dont consider this a threat - other than more Obama shenanigans.

ARK of the COVENANT in Yemen -
gotta cause a fake war to get this!

TV and radio drone on and on about the bombs and planes and Yemen.  Its foolishness and boring.
FIRST they feared these phony 'bombs' were this, then that,
then they were to bomb synagogs, now they are to bomb the planes.
COME ON!  THINK!  Idea  Exclamation

The greedy world leaders have wanted a war in Yemen for about a year or longer.
There is some evidence the Ark of the Covenant is there and they want it for power.
They have carefully set up fake bomb plots for about a year, mentioning Yemen,
so that the stupid sheepl would support a war there on that FALSE basis.
Let me tell you 2 things.
1 - the Ark is in Jerusalem, not Yemen, and THE ARK is in heaven.
2 - it would only be a curse on them if they did find it

Suspicious UPS Packages in Philadelphia Airport, NYC Truck

Is Obama looking for any excuse to cause terror?

October 29, 2010

UPDATE:
UPS Reporting that a second plane is being investigated in Philadelphia and that the Newark plane has been cleared and has already landed in Louisville, KY.

Authorities are investigating suspicious packages found on UPS planes at Philadelphia International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport and another on a UPS truck in Queens, NY.

Another UPS flight from Yemen to Chicago reportedly also was stopped in London and found to contain an ink toner cartridge converted to a bomb. Though other reports contradict that account.

A crew member arriving to Philadelphia on a UPS flight from Paris notified authorities of a suspicious package on board describing a potential radiological component, a local CBS affiliate reported.
Philadelphia police and firefighters greeted the inbound flight shortly after 9 a.m. and the two occupants exited the aircraft, the station reported.

A second UPS plane,  which landed safely at Newark Liberty also is being investigated. Both planes have been moved to a remote location, Lee said.

UPS says the the plane that landed at Newark originated at East Midlands in the UK. The company says it has been cleared and already has landed in Louisville, KY.
The New York Police Department confirmed to Fox News that a UPS truck with a possible suspicious was being investigating at Queens Plaza North.

The domestic investigations come as an ink toner cartridge converted into a bomb was found on a UPS flight traveling to Chicago from Yemen, CNN reported.
The bomb was discovered when the plane was stopped in London, the station said.
Heathrow Airport denied any knowledge of the incident.

A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said officials found something suspicious on a cargo plane in Birmingham, England. But test results for explosives were negative.

UPS said in a statement that it is "cooperating with authorities" but could only confirm suspicious packages on planes that landed in Newark and Philly.
Operations at the Philadelphia airport are not affected and all flights are taking off and landing as scheduled, the airport reported.

U.S. alert focuses on cargo after suspicious packages found overseas

October 29, 2010

Cargo planes and trucks in several U.S. cities were inspected Friday after investigators found suspicious packages in at least two locations abroad, said law enforcement sources with detailed knowledge of the investigation.

U.S. officials believe that al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, commonly referred to as AQAP, is behind the incident.

One suspicious package, found in the United Kingdom, contained a "manipulated" toner cartridge but tested negative for explosive material, the source said. It led to heightened inspection of arriving cargo flights in Newark, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a UPS truck in New York.

The package had white powder on it as well as wires and a circuit board, a law enforcement source said; someone shipped it from Sanaa, Yemen, with a final destination of Chicago, Illinois. A similar package has been discovered in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, the source said.

The suspicious package from Yemen had wires and a circuit board, a law enforcement source said.

Authorities were looking for about 13 other packages shipped from Yemen, a law enforcement source said. Some of them have been found and an investigation of those has not indicated they are a threat, the source said.

There is no specific intelligence indicating the other packages are a threat or that they are in the United States, the source said, but authorities want to check them as a precaution.
A Yemeni diplomat in Washington said his government has opened a full-scale investigation into the incident but it was too early to speculate or reach any conclusions.

Investigators were looking for a "possible nexus to terrorism," a U.S. official said.
"We are taking this very seriously," the official said.

The plot could be a dry run to test Western security, another official told CNN.
The Department of Homeland Security said it "had taken a number of steps to enhance security," including "heightened cargo screening and additional security at airports."

Al Qaeda probe or dry run for follow-up air mail attack?
Last-minute foreign tipoff thwarted cargo plane plot

Altho I have trusted debka in the past, I am smelling a foul stink here.  Sad

October 30, 2010   debka

Were it not for a tipoff from Saudi intelligence identifying the UPS and Fedex bomb parcels directed from Yemen to Chicago on separate cargo planes, they would not have been discovered before they blew up. Even so, debkafile''''s counter-terror sources report, al Qaeda chalked up a coup by successfully penetrating and paralyzing the main intercontinental air mail systems.

The packages taken off planes at the British East Midlands airport and Dubai Friday, Oct. 29, and rendered harmless were affixed to separate detonators- a cell phone and a trigger.

Barack Obama reported a credible terror threat to the United States Friday night and pointed to Al Qaeda in Yemen (AQAP). He said two Chicago synagogues were targeted, but did not specify to which of the 140 Jewish places of worship in the Chicago area the packages were addressed.

The city is the president''''s political base. His outgoing chief of staff mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel and his wife attend Anshe Shalom.
The United States, European and Middle East airports went on high terror alert after Washington was informed of a bomb threat to the US by means of air cargoes Thursday night. All the same, local airport security authorities in the US, Britain, Germany, France and Dubai were not aware of the threat and let the packages go through to their destinations.  Suspicion was first aroused at the East Midlands airport by a photocopier ink cartridge with wires and white powder. Our sources report it contained PETN explosive material disguised by a chemical coating. This was the same substance used by the "Underpants" bomber Farouk Abdulmuttalab when he failed to blow up a Delta passenger flight last Christmas and "Shoe Bomber" Richard Reid nine years ago. After that, cargo planes with freights originating in Yemen were kept back on arrival at Philadelphia and Newark, NJ international airports for thorough screening.

Intensified security measures at all US airports for passengers as well as freight and the public advised to be extra vigilant.  Friday, as confusion mounted over the nature of "attack", dozens of alarms were phoned in during the day from different parts of America. They included sightings of two UPS pick-trucks in Queens and Brooklyn, an unaccompanied bag on a street bench which caused part of San Francisco''''s financial district to be temporarily evacuated and a knapsack outside a courthouse in Portland, Maine.

Linda Haase, the associate vice president of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, said Friday that synagogues in the area had been on alert since being informed of a potential threat. She referred to threats to synagogues and the White House and mentioned "black powder." The reference to the White House as later dropped from the report.

Obama''''s statement stressed that the terror threat was still in force and US security and intelligence services were on guard to protect US citizens, friends and allies. The Transport Security Agency was ordered to intensify security checks at all American airports.
Saturday, the US media disclosed that Saudi intelligence had been the source of the tipoff to Washington about dangerous air freight on its way to the United States providing the consignment numbers of the bomb packages. In the UK, following discovery of the rigged ink cartridge, a new counter-terror center was established with labs for testing suspect articles.  Prime Minister David Cameron called the COBRA committee into session to look at the lapses of the British air security system.

Even after the ink-bomb raised suspicion at East Midlands, major questions remain to be answered:

1. Without the Saudi tipoff, the bomb-parcels would have remained undetected and reached their targets. Meanwhile, Al Qaeda has succeeded in breaching the intercontinental air freight system, one of the wheels which makes Western economies go round and can claim a tactical success.

2.  Although PETN had been used by failed al Qaeda''''s bombers on international flights in the past, several airport security agencies at ports on the routes of the cargo flights failed to detect the presence of this explosive substance.

3. While only two packages have been identified as dangerous, there may be more still be found in meticulous sweeps of many tons of freight. Their presence refutes the first theory widely held by terror experts that the plot was a dry run to probe for weak points in the intercontinental air freight system.

4.  The imposition of heightened security for air cargo comparable to that applied to passenger traffic would throw the mail industry into chaos, causing extreme financial losses and disrupting an important branch of the Western economy. That too would be accounted by al Qaeda a major success - at very little cost to itself.

           -------------------------

Oct 29

Although dozens of security agencies on three continents were galvanized into top alert for a multiple terrorist assault on the intercontinental cargo aviation system, none of the suspicious packages examined so far on US-bound freight carriers from Yemen at British and Dubai airports Saturday, Oct. 29, appeared to contain explosives - although tests continue. Dubai police alone reported finding explosive materials in a package confiscated from a Fedex plane.

Al Qaeda in Yemen (AQAP) tops the list of suspects behind the alarm which climaxed with the discovery of photocopier ink cartridge rigged to look like a bomb with wires and white powder. It was found on a Chicago-bound UPS flight from Yemen at the British East Midlands airport.

That was one of the two suspicious packages cited in a White House statement. The second was confiscated at the Fedex facility at Dubai airport.

The tipoff by an allied intelligence service of an air cargo terror plot reached Washington Thursday night, Oct. 28. After that US, British, French, German and Gulf counter-terror and aviation security agencies went into round-the-clock mode. Saturday, they decided to quarantine three cargo flights at Philadelphia and Newark, NJ, international airport  for intensive sweeps of freights from Yemen.
The Chicago Jewish Federation was warned to be extra careful because some of the suspect parcels containing black power were addressed to local synagogues.

Security measures at all US airports for passengers as well as freight and the public advised to be extra vigilant.  As confusion mounted over the nature of "attack", dozens of alarms were phoned in during the day from different parts of America. They included sightings of two UPS pick-trucks in Queens and Brooklyn, an unaccompanied bag on a street bench which caused part of San Francisco''''s financial district to be temporarily evacuated and a knapsack outside a courthouse in Portland, Maine.

A special new counter-terror center was established in the UK with labs for screening suspicious articles.
President Barack Obama is due to deliver a statement later Saturday.
Until he sheds some light on the package scare, debkafile''''s counter-terror sources report intense speculation over the motivation behind it. Four theories stand out:

1.  The small number of suspect packages - apparently less than the fingers of one hand - was used to probe  the intercontinental aviation security systems for cargo planes and airports handling freights to the United States. This probe could have been a dry run for a real attack.

2.  The imposition heightened security for air cargo comparable to that applied to passenger traffic would throw the mail industry into chaos, causing extreme financial losses and disrupting an important branch of the Western economy.

3. While heightened security has turned up no more than one bomb, there may be more still undiscovered. Screening many tons of freight takes time.

4. Getting one of the suspect packages delivered at the White House in Washington would give al Qaeda a tremendous propaganda boost.

Obama Issues Fake Terror Alert On Eve Of Election

Establishment media fearmongers about “mail bomb plot” despite no bombs being found, Obama contradicts his own federal security

As we predicted on four separate occasions would happen, the Obama White House has deliberately contrived a fake terror scare on the eve of the mid-term elections in an effort to subdue the rampaging political appetite for anti-big government candidates that threatens to sweep aside establishment incumbents next week.

Despite the fact that the so-called suspicious package discovered on a flight in the United Kingdom tested negative for any explosive material, President Obama, after being informed of the apparent “threat” yesterday, “directed U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and the Department of Homeland Security” to launch a full-scale security alert, according to a White House press release, which in turn was helpfully elevated to levels of hysteria by the corporate media today.

The scaremongering was focused around two UPS planes that landed at Philadelphia International Airport and another at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, but just like the incident in the UK, both were soon given the “all clear,” reports CNN, and no bombs were found.

Despite the fact that no explosives at all were found on any of the planes, the establishment media is still feverishly running with the story that this was a “mail bomb” plot targeting the United States and that it was run out of Yemen, which coincidentally is also the US Military-Industrial Complex’s number one target for attack.

Quite how a “mail bomb plot” can succeed without any actual bombs is something the hysterical press has failed to properly explain. Like every other single major terror scare targeting the United States that we have covered, this smacks of an engineered political ploy.

As the video at the top of this article highlights, the terror scare also arrives just days after British Airways Chairman Martin Broughton attacked US authorities for the continuation of “completely redundant” airport security checks. It also comes amidst an increasing backlash against naked body scanners.

Just as former Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge admitted that fake terror alerts were issued by the Bush administration for political gain, Obama is taking a leaf out of the Neo-Con’s playbook – and his timing couldn’t be better – just four days before the mid-term elections on Super Tuesday.

Over the last few months, on four separate occasions, we warned that the Obama White House would pull a terror stunt on the eve of the election in an effort to corral an increasingly resentful and angry electorate into acquiescence. As we reported back in July, former Clinton advisor Robert Shapiro wrote that Obama was relying on an October surprise in the form of a terror scare to rescue his presidency.

“The bottom line here is that Americans don’t believe in President Obama’s leadership,” wrote Shapiro, adding, “He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can’t think of how he could do that.”

   *

Last month we reported on how the Obama administration’s threat that a “small scale terror attack” was on the cards was just another political ploy to instill fear within Americans. In another subsequent article we again highlighted the probability of the government contriving a terror scare for political grist.

We repeated our warning about Obama seeking to exploit terror earlier this month in the aftermath of the supposed airport lobby bombing plot, which again turned out to be nothing but hot air.

We’d be loathe to forget that the media and the government have been totally discredited over and over again by their complicity in issuing phony terror alerts designed to manipulate elections and frighten the public into slavish obedience, accepting naked body scanners, an intensification of the police state and any other indignity in the name of the government protecting them from terrorists like Christmas Day bomber Farouk Abdulmutallab, who was allowed to board the airliner he tried to attack by order of the US State Department.

Within hours of this new terror scare breaking every indication, most notably the fact that Obama was informed last night and decided to go ahead with a full security alert despite the UK package being a dud, screams out that this is a contrived political stunt designed to sway the many key undecided voters in anticipation of next week’s mid-terms.

20 explosive devices suspected to be en route to US
HINT  -  The terrorists are in the US whitehouse!

British, American press report security forces trying to trace parcels sent in last 48 hours via airmail to European destinations.
It is feared packages scattered in various airports, may already be on US soil. Security beefed at airports

US and European security and intelligence forces are working to trace as many as 20 packages suspected to contain explosives which may have been sent to Jewish facilities, similar to the two devices found Friday in Dubai and Britain.

Initial checks show devices found in UK, Dubai contained PETN explosive material which was used by Nigerian terrorist who planned Detroit terror plot last Christmas
That was a hoax, as was the NY Times Square ''bomb.''

British and American press reported Saturday that intelligence agencies are trying to trace parcels sent in the 48 hours via airmail to various European destinations from Yemen. No additional devices have been found as of yet.

Meanwhile, comprehensive checks are being held at UPS and FedEx branches in US airports.
Jewish facilities have also heightened security measures. It is feared that additional packages, if they indeed exist, are scattered around various airports and might already be on US oil.

Consequently, US airports as well as several European sites, have beefed up security. Checks are mainly conducted on cargo planes. Two UPS planes were checked in Philadelphia but found to contain no explosives.

Despite the MI6''s involvement in recieving initial information on the terror alert, there is mounting criticism in the UK regarding the handling of the affair.
The Guardian reported that initial screening checks of the UPS facility in East Midlands were inconclusive and that only the discovery of a freight bomb in Dubai prompted an additional check.

The Daily Telegraph reported that British Prime Minister David Cameron was briefed about the incident only at 4 pm GMT – more than 18 hours after US President Barack Obama was informed of the affair by adviser John Bernnan.

It was reported Saturday that Dubai police said that the parcel bound for the US contained a bomb hidden in a printer cartridge and bore the hallmarks of al-Qaeda.

The parcel contained explosive pentaerythritol trinitrate (PETN) in a printer cartridge.
It was prepared in a professional way where a closed electrical circuit was connected to a mobile phone SIM card hidden inside the printer.
This tactic carries the hallmarks of methods used previously by terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda.

US synagogues on alert
Shabbat services unchanged

Jewish community centers across United States ordered to take extra precaution even before President Obama confirmed suspicious parcels contained explosives,
bound for Chicago Jewish facilities. Rabbis stress Shabbat services will go on as usual

US synagogues and Jewish facilities were ordered to be extra cautious and thoroughly check any items received by mail following the discovery of explosives in Britian and Dubai which were bound for Jewish facilities in Chicago.
Nevertheless, some Chicago rabbis announced that Shabbat services would go on as usual.
Chicago police said it beefed up security around all the city's synagogues.
Also, US security sources said they ruled out the possibility that the parcels containing the explosives were bound for a synagogue near US President Barack Obama's house in the city.

The warning was given before Obama confirmed the packages contained explosives. Earlier, US media reported that the explosives were bound for a synagogue and a Jewish community center in Chicago, information confirmed by Obama Friday.

Michael Kotzin, vice president of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, told Ynet Friday that synagogues and other locations associated with Judaism were asked to check their mail with additional care even before the bomb threat surfaced.

Kotzin said the first warning came regarding packages originating in Yemen, and later came warnings regarding Saudi Arabia and additional countries.
Rabbi Michael Balinsky, executive vice president of the Chicago Board of Rabbis, said that he anticipates Shabbat services be held as usual.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Rabbi Michael Siegel of Anshe Emet Synagogue in Lakeview said the congregation will not accept UPS packages until "we know the danger has passed."
He added that since the September 11 attacks synagogues have enhanced their security means and are also receiving help from off-duty police officers to guard entrances to Jewish facilities.

Ortal Alon Finklestein, who resides in Chicago told Ynet that life goes on as usual in the city. "My mother-in-law called me earlier and told me of the news. It was a bit frightening, there's a synagogue near our house and we go there sometimes, mainly on Saturdays and holidays. There's also a Jewish school nearby, but overall I feel safe. I don't feel an immediate threat."
